At my apartment complex, I have a yard for my unit and it is attached to the property's dog park. While this can be fun for my pup, it can also be dangerous for when some people bring their aggressive dog to the park as the bars between the unit and park allow a dog's snout through it (my dog can be bit). I ordered this chicken wire to put across the larger spaced bars to keep a dog's snout from getting through. This was a bit hard to unravel because of the way it was packed but it does the job of blocking the space between the bars. I would suggest using gloves when handling this though as the edges are very sharp and this left my hands with a lot of little cuts. ... show more

1"x.6" mesh on 17"x20' fencing. I don't see gauge listed but it is a thinner wire than most other chicken wire I have found. I suppose it will make it easier to set up, but mostly I expect it to just get chewed through more and rust faster. The roll looked to be in good shape though; clean coating, no rust. I'll see how it holds up but I'll take care to check gauge in the future. ... show more

I've had to spend a fortune on chicken wire for my yard to keep the skunks, squirrels, and raccoons from ripping it up to get to grubs. I'd been buying chicken wire locally from a hardware store, but this brand is much cheaper. Even better, the wire used to secure the roll is much easier to remove than the other brand's, so I was able to unroll this and set it up very quickly. (The chicken wire is definitely working, but it takes a lot to cover a lawn until spring when you can get a lawn treated for grubs.) ... show more
