  • Very pleased with the outcome
Style: Baked Taco Rack
I usually buy my taco shells already made. I had the remnant of a package of corn tortillas from a tortilla casserole. I saw this as a solution and boy am I happy I did. The taco shells it turned out were lighter, crispier, more edible than the normal "store bought" variety. Those not used for as taco shells were reduced to some very fine tortilla chips. ... show more

  • Perfect size, love the results
Style: Baked Taco Rack
I greatly prefer the taste and texture of homemade taco shells. I had previously draped the tortillas over my oven racks but that’s really messy (especially if you have oil on the tortillas) and very inconsistent in the resulting shape. This rack, however, is my new best friend in taco shell preparation. I do lightly oil the tortillas (corn) and I put this rack on a cookie sheet in case the oil drips. It took a couple tries to get the timing down but I can make a dozen tobacco shells in the time it takes to prepare everything else. As a bonus, they taste so much better than store bought taco shells and I don’t have to waste the whole box if I only needed a few! Definitely recommend. ... show more

  • does the job
Style: Baked Taco Rack
This fits perfectly in our toaster oven and we use the "air fry" setting. If you take the shells off before they cool the tops curl in making it hard to fill them without breaking the shell. Therefore we bought a second one so we can let the first batch cool on the rack while we toast a second batch. SO much cheaper than buying crunchy taco shells in the store, and you can toast them to your taste. ... show more

  • Works Great
Style: Baked Taco Rack
You have to microwave or steam tortillas so they stay on, bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. No grease. Excellent hard shell tacos 🌮

  • Does a good job.
Style: Baked Taco Rack
This rack works well. However I wish it came with a bottom tray to sit it on. It definitely needs to be places on a cookie sheet if you don’t want a nasty smokey oven when using.

  • Works great if you hack it a little
Style: Baked Taco Rack
This perfect for anyone baking homemade tortilla taco shells if your oven racks won't do the job. you just have to hack it a little. Its really slippery so the tortillas slide right off before they can mold into shape and stay in the saddle. I don't know why they made it non-stick but they did. Oh well. That's the reason its 4 and not 5. Solution? Lay something oven proof but light across the top of them for the first five minutes of baking till they wilt and harden up a bit. I use some small stoneware saucers. Man, the guys who returned or threw theirs away cuz they couldn't cope really lack imagination! Hope yer more adaptable when the zombies come. ... show more

  • Read the instructions.
Style: Baked Taco Rack
Corn tortillas are a bit stiff, particularly when cold (out of refrigerator). Warm them up to make pliable thus allowing to fold over rack without cracking. Read the instructions for best results. I spray the tortilla with olive oil (using an oil mister) which helps in making them "fried" crispy. Dishwasher clean - easy peazy ... show more

  • Used once, needs further try's
Style: Baked Taco Rack
Only used once so far and tortillas want to fall off if not careful, but will keep trying and report later.
