Years ago I bought one of the first automatic curling tools by another company. It only curled one way, and never gave me the salon blowout look I was going for. I thought my hair skills were rusty, but I just had the wrong tool. I am so excited I have found this! After returning several “easy to use” curling appliances, I have finally found one that 1). I can actually determine how to use; 2)doesn’t require a heat glove to keep from burning myself; 3) curls clear to the ends of my hair; and 4). Isn’t easy, but curling the back of my not quite shoulder length hair is doable. I have found that it works better on my hair if I let it heat up for about 10 minutes. Some of the curls will sort of last over night, but no curl stays in my hair which is thin and fine. If you’re worried your hair might get stuck, stop. I tried to put hair that I hadn’t combed out and it did get stuck, but there was no discomfort from pulling or burning. It beeps several times, you turn it off and unravel your hair which came out easily. And it was my own fault it got stuck. Had I combed it first, I would have been fine. While I like the design, I do wish it wasn’t quit so bulky, which is why I only gave it 4stars. But it is the best tool I have ever found! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This curling iron gadget is a nifty tool for creating quick curls. You place it at the base of your hair, press one of the arrow buttons to swirl the hair into the curling barrel (like “slurping spaghetti”), and wait for it to beep after heating—about 20 seconds for my fine, straight hair. It’s a great time-saver for busy people like me, especially as a working mom who appreciates fast, easy styling hacks. There is a bit of a learning curve. If the device is too close to the scalp or the hair is pulled too tightly, it will stop and need to be reset. After using it three times, I’ve figured out how much hair to feed into it and how to position it for smooth operation. The curls are nice and hold well, but it doesn’t catch the roots or tips of my long hair in one go—it mostly curls the middle section. I found I could curl the tips by repositioning the device, but that’s more work than I’d like for a quick styling session. The device is lightweight, easy to hold, and heats well—40 degrees was perfect for my fine hair. I also like that it simplifies the curling process compared to a traditional curling iron, which can tire out my arms. While it was a bit of a splurge for me (I don’t usually spend much on hair tools), I think it’s a reasonable value for the time and effort it saves. I love this product so far. Was little bit scared to use it, but sobfar good. I have very fine hair and have never been able to master curling my hair. But I just tried it out and it is magical. Took me couple of tries, since my hair is very thin I put it on low setting, I got curls in mid strands but not to the ends, I assume it's because the setting is low. But I redid the bottom part and got the curls and they look good. I don't have to wonder how long to keep the curling iron in, it will let me know and so far the curls hold. I have very long and thick hair and curling options are not easy as my hair doesn't fit on the curler. I had high hopes for this curler as it says it is for long hair and it is effortless. I work a lot and could use some effortless products... Sadly, this curler was not able to handle my hair. I was only able to curl about half my hair. There were times my hair would get stuck during a curl and it would make the curl look weird. Overall I think this is probably a decent little curler and it does get really hot and it curls in just seconds. I do not recommend if your hair is longer than mid back. ... show more

The curler works pretty well. Overall, it does a good job in curling the hair in a decent amount of time. Has multiple heat levels, as well as timer levels for setting the length of time hair sits in curler. The curls hold well too. Only draw back is if there is too much “tension” on the hair, it’ll go into error mode. You just need to remove your hair and put slightly less hair in the curler and try again.
