Bought this product in hopes of removing some of the baked on brake dust from my project truck, I sprayed it on let sit a few minutes then used a drill with a homemade toilet brush bit to scrub the wheels and they look like new! The only thing is this stuff has a very skunky smell

This is a great product. No denying that, it works great on wheels, spray it on and you see the gunk turning purple right away. Easy to use. However, I was only able to get 2 uses out of 1 bottle, so a little spendy for the amount you get. Updated September 2023 I contacted Chemical Guys and they sent me a replacement for the damaged bottle. The Iron remover works great. I highly recommend you use this outside or a well ventilated area. The remover smells like rotten eggs. Most iron removers I've used have the same odor. Glad that Chemical Guys came through and made things right. I have always had a positive experience with all Chemical Guys products. The only thing I can knock them on is how their products are packaged. It is not uncommon to receive a product that is somewhat damaged during packaging or shipping. Usually it does not keep me from using it. This time I was unable to use the product. The shrink-wrap was so tight, that it broke the nozzle and bottle. If you have ever used a Iron Remover you know how bad it smells. I have reached out to Chemical Guys for a replacement. When I receive the replacement I will update my review. ... show more

Product works great on loose brake dust, but does absolutely zero if its baked on. Had to use brake cleaner to finish the job.

I followed instructions on how to apply and use this product as directed. I washed my truck first to remove the easy to remove dirt then applied generously, waited 5 minutes and used a tire brush to scrub cleaner off. My rims aren’t any cleaner than the normal car wash. Will not buy again.
