Our water dispenser didn't generate hot enough water and running water through the office Keurig was not pleasant, so I found this unit on sale and purchased it for my office. I didn't really think it through though on sizing as this was way too big for the space I was intending to place it in my office. I filled it to the max level and tried it out, and let me say, the kettle works amazingly well. Boils fast, super easy to use, and love that you can pop off the lid. But it is huge in my office. Much better for an office break room situation or if you host at you house for a large number of guests that want tea. It heats cold water to a boil very quickly. (A minute?) we're on well water so I've been concerned about bacteria in our drinking water. Even though the health department tested it, I feel more comfortable about this process especially since there are concerns about the plastic in bottled drinking water now.
