It's no JetBoil, but it's a very serviceable single burner stove. I bought this for my father who lives in an apartment with an electric stove, which he hates. He doesn't cook much, but prefers heating the kettle over fire, and he loves this. Easy ignition (turn and click), easy fuel swap, easy to move, if desired. Heats his kettle much faster than the electric burner. I like it well enough I think I'll get one (perhaps try another make & model) for an emergency kit. These types of stove all work essentially the same (burner quality is probably the most important aspect to consider), but he liked the design & curves of this one. The burner is not bad. One caveat - The compatible butane fuel canisters (8.0 or 8.8 oz) seem to be in short supply lately. Most local places (sporting and outdoor, walmart, etc.) that normally carry them are all out and they don't know when they'll get more. I was lucky to find a can locally, but even that store hasn't gotten any more in since I apparently grabbed their last one. Ordering the fuel is tricky because it can't be shipped to some places; though maybe you'll be luckier than me in that regard. ... show more

This was a life saver when we were without power for a few days after Hurricane Milton. I was able to hear water for coffee, and cook regular meals for the family. The burner was easy to set up and stores away perfect in its case. Highly recommend for Hurricane prep or for camping!

This can only be used camping outside. Don’t buy it for inside the house for a stove substitute, like I did. I guess the instructions weren’t so clear.

We get storms or hurricanes every year and always lose power so I’ve had a few gas stoves and this is the best one by far. It’s compact, easy to store and super easy to use. Just click on and go. I have 2 and can cook anything, we’ve even had small Costco pizzas made on this. It’s the perfect compact emergency stove👍🏼👍🏼 or for camping if you’re into that. Costumer service is exceptional! Told them we were without power for 6 days after Fiona and needed one Rush and they delivered it 2 days in advance!!!! Saved my life. Haven’t used the stove yet but just wanted to drop this as a warning. The case it came with arrived broken in both sides. As you can imagine it’s incredibly flimsy and will not survive much handling and couldn’t even survive the delivery. Just calling out such cheap quality and saying it’s a high impact plastic case.
