I actually purchased this for fish I plan to purchase, Pygmy Cory catfish. So far my mystery snail has gotten some use out of it, but he quickly outgrew it, it is quite small, and I wish it was just a little larger. I think shrimp and fish like my catfish will get some use from it, though.

I bought this for shrimp to hide in but almost all the other fish (betta included) use it. I'm a little concerned about the algae growing between the edges and the glass. One fit snuggly against the glass but the other has a gap. I guess I'll see if I will eventually I'll need to remove it.

I don't think this had sharp edges like others commented on. It's a really cute idea for a tank and since we want to have shrimp I thought it would be cool to be able to view them if they hide in it. I did have some issues with it fitting snuggly in the corner as there is the silicone holding the glass together there so it wasn't fitting flush down the sides and was letting some tiny gravel in. I took a hot glue gun and ran it along the edges and tapered it away in the corner that was pushed up to the silicone and it worked really well. It fills in just enough so that no more gravel falls into the cracks and it fits tighter to the corner in general. Overall, it works really well, just needed a little adjustment for our tank specifically. ... show more
