This thing is so cute! But the little toggles along the front are pretty thin. I can see those getting broken or even peeling with time. Also, this coat shipped in a bag and arrived a collection of wrinkles. Not great unless you have a steamer on hand for next-day wear. I had to buy this coat since I was wearing an arm cast throughout all winter. It looks very pretty, sort of di the job.. but I must say that it is a very heavy material for the amount of warmth it provides.

This is used for a wheelchair bound female. She has very bad shoulder joints that make it very hard to put on a sleeved coat. This has no sleeves but has hand holes. Very ease to put on and snaps in front so is very warm. Have not tried it for extended periods of time outside in the cold. Only used for going to the car and into house and businesses. The cape is of good quality, but the little ball that holds the clasp closed is in two pieces. The top screws on and off, and one of them fell off, so now I can't close one of the clasps. The snap on the neck is the only way I have of keeping the cold off me. Very poor design. There is no way for me to fix it. ... show more

Bought this for my elderly MIL . It is difficult for her to raise her arms to fit in sleeves so this was a practical solution. The weight is perfect for the winter days when she has to venture out and it is easy to simply drape around shoulders. I took away one star because of the straps in front. Instead of snapping or buttoning closed it has a small knob and you put it through the hole. In time and use I can see the hole getting larger which would make the closure ineffective.
