I have bought other animals from this company and been very happy. They last a long time, and my dog hasn’t been able to destroy them… Until now! I bought the moose this time and within a day its head was coming off, and now there’re rips and tears in the side seams. The last one I had, which was the sheep, lasted for over nine months, and became a puppy favorite. I’m not sure what to do here at this point, but I am very discouraged and hoping that it’s just because there was a flaw in the manufacturing. We bought the sheep first. It was our 65 lb goldendoodle’s favorite toy, so we ordered the moose later. I wasn’t quite as impressed with the construction of the moose. It feels cheaper somehow and the squeaker in the center broke pretty quickly. The sheep was recently destroyed (after 9 months). I feel like that’s a decent run for a dog toy when you have a large dog. I went to order another one but decided to try the long raccoon toy instead. It has been love at first sight for my dog! It’s cute, has multiple squeakers, crinkle stuffing, and makes a good tug of war and throw toy too. Would highly recommend the large sheep and the long raccoon toys. ... show more

We have been ordering this Large moose for my 11 pound schnoodle for years, so it pains me to write this. It is practically the same size as he is, but he loves his "Moooose!" I originally found it at a local pet store, then ordered direct through the Charming Pet site, then began easily ordering on Amazon. I have even washed Moose repeatedly in the washing machine in a delicate item wash bag, it was great! Moose even made it into our family Christmas card photo. However... the last few orders of the Large Moose lasted only days before the seam tore and stuffing popped out. I decided to surprise my pup by ordering one last time and hoped for a better result. I received a new Moose today, my pup played with it for 4 minutes when stuffing began popping out of the seam (remember... he is only 11 pounds). We were both VERY sad and disappointed. ... show more

    • Bigger, louder, crinklier, softer, than expected!

The media could not be loaded. My dog was gifted a collection of used toys and he really likes a very long stuffed pig which, unfortunately, another dog that is a destructive chewer, totally destroyed. I decided to break down and buy him another long stuffed toy today and since he's always blissfully watching rabbits in the yard and neighborhood I chose the rabbit version. This thing is huge which is great for him- he's 62 lbs and 7 months old and only half grown. He loves it, it has multiple LOUD squeakers, lots of crinkly spots, and fun ears/legs to grab hold off. He's a big fan and it's made with K9 Tuff Guard which LASTS. Super soft and easy to wash. Update after 2 months- easy to wash and looks new after a washing. very durable so far, standing up to indoor and outdoor use. He is not a destructive chewer but whips them around, tramples on them, steps on them while running top speed and chomps on the annoying squeaker for hours. one squeaker has a hole and its tune is now slightly muted (thank god) ... show more
