Description

Chapin’s ATV sprayer technology in a convenient 8-gallon size. The 97080 8-gallon ATV multi-purpose tank sprayer comes with a 12V hookup to run off a standard battery. It’s small enough to carry around on a garden cart, tractor, ATV or UTV and its chemical-resistant poly tank, seals and gaskets are designed to handle standard lawn and garden chemicals. The drain cap is tethered to the tank for easy emptying. The 15-foot hose and 20-inch extension wand gives you farther reach. Made in the USA with Chapin’s 1-year limited warranty.

This has been a great sprayer for spraying weeds. I am able to put it in my wagon with my lawnmower or in the bed of my UTV. It is easy to hook up to battery and go.     • Check the rubber hoses and electrical connections.
The sprayer arrived quickly but loose in the factory box. No protection for the plastic tank and the box did have several holes in it from shipping. Hooked up the electrical as instructed. Pump wouldn't turn on, checked the fuse and no fuse was installed. Installed a fuse and the pump came on but would not spray. Tried to prime as instructed, tried a few times for at least 15 minutes and the pump still wouldn't spray. Finally gave up following the instructions and pulled the inlet hose, the hose was blowing air and not sucking. Reversed the hoses on the pump and it started to spray. 3 stars because instructions and online trouble shooting guide is useless. The sprayer should work right out of the box and the customer shouldn't have to tinker with it. Quality control is poor, hoses should be assembled correctly and it should have had a fuse in it already. Sprays about 15, maybe 18 feet, so at least it does work as it should now. Hopefully it lasts, will follow up a few months down the road after I've used it for awhile. ... show more

Crap, Has a hole in the bottom of the tank where mounting bolts could be, couldn't get it to prime the pump because the pump in and out hoses were reversed from factory, Cheap plastic spray wand , No quality control. Complete waste of time and money.

The media could not be loaded. The Chapin sprayer worked great. It took about 15 minutes to assemble. Easy hook up to the battery and to the sprayer itself. It was used to spray our vegetables and our fruit tree with ease. The spray reached the tops of our fruit trees. Would recommend buying this product. ... show more

    • EZ assembly, no priming issues, fill the tank and start spraying
The media could not be loaded. EZ Assembly of tank and hook up to ATV battery power, no priming issues, just fill the tank and start spraying. We use it to treat weeds in our landscape areas but will also use it as weed and feed for lawn. The 8 gallon tank on our ATV allows us get to all areas of our property without many refills and without breaking our back. ... show more
