  • Great little sprayer for the price.
Style: 1-Gallon Pattern Name: Sprayer
Pick this little sprayer up on Amazon for 10 bucks. Can't beat the price . Yes it is all plastic and you have to make sure the connections are tight or the thing leaks . I've even had more expensive ones that leak, but for 10 dollars , what do you expect . Going to use this to make a special mix of vegetation killer for all the weeds and vines along the side of the garage. I want to dedicate a special bottle to make sure I don't mix it up with other pesticides or weed prevention . Take a magic marker and specifically dedicate this bottle . The little one gallon size is so convenient . Having only about 2500 ft² of yard, This is perfect . Comfortable handle ,easy to pump ,adjustable spray nozzle , great deal. ... show more

  • Had to return
Style: 1-Gallon Pattern Name: Sprayer
This was doing an awesome job for about the first 15 minutes. Spray was good, strong and continuous after the first time pumping the handle which was great. Then every time I pumped it afterwords you could hear a hissing which meant that it was not creating the suction it needed to spray. It would spurt and sputter due to the air leak and I couldn’t finish the job. I ended up buying one at my local hardware store. It is the exact same brand at the exact same price and have used it on my yard eight times now about 30 minutes each time and I’ve had no issues with it. It could be I just got a bad one which happens sometimes. ... show more

  • Great Sprayer!
Style: 1-Gallon Pattern Name: Sprayer
What a great sprayer! It's well made with thick walls, pumps up quickly and sprays nicely. The spray nozzle was well designed with being able to finely adjust the spray pattern without the spray pattern becoming to fine or to course to quickly. Awesome! I sprayed a full tank and only needed to pump the sprayer on 4 different occasions. Plus - there was only about 2 tablespoons of product left in the tank when it was empty. Someone was thinking when they designed this sprayer. Even on the first full pumping the pressure up, it lasted a good long time while dispersing the product! Impressive. Definitely a quality product made by Chapin AND in the good old USA! ... show more

  • Junk––Won't hold pressure
Style: 1-Gallon Pattern Name: Sprayer
I bought this to spray a mix of bleach and detergent on the cedar shingles on my house facade. They tell you to test first with plain water. On the first test, it would not hold pressure, but tightening the cap very tight got it to work. I then filled it with my propietary mix of 7 ounces bleach + 5ozs detergent to 1/2 gallon water. I got it to hold pressure on the second try and sprayed a portion of the house. There is only one setting for the spray head––a stream. It had enough pressure to reach to the second story but it's slow going getting coverage because of the narrow stream. I let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes and washed off with a hose and clear water. Not a bad job, but slow. The next day I refilled to do some more of the house exterior. This time it wouldn't pressurize at all. After tightening the lid as tight as I could, I got it to hold enough pressure to get in about 30 seconds of weak spraying before having to re-pump. I was about to give up after a few tries of this, but then thought that maybe I could seal the lid with some wide teflon tape. I wrapped my 3/4" industrial seal PTFE tape five or six times around the threads, but still could not get a better seal. Decided to scrap it. Amazon gave me a returnless refund. The people selling this item ought to take it off the market. But I guess they figure enough people will not bother to claim a refund or will wait too long. Sellers like this ought to be put out of business. I really suggest you try this as soon as you get it, and request a refund right away if it fails. I went back to my old method of using my old container of Mold Armor deck spray which has a nozzle you attach to the garden hose. After I realized it was nothing but bleach, I refilled it myself for several cheap and effective deck washes. It works well on siding as well, especially if you refill with a mix of bleach and detergent. You can get a 64 oz. bottle on Amazon for $8.97 https://www.amazon.com/Mold-Armor-FG51264-Sprayer-Plain/dp/B01NAU9T3C/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=mold+armor&qid=1626919731&sr=8-5 It's cheaper than this furshlugginer sprayer, and you can refill a lot of times and it still works. Because a hose-end sprayer dilutes the contents of the bottle with water, I fill the bottle almost full with bleach and add a few ounces of detergent. to treat algae-soiled cedar shingles. If no algae, just dirt, reduce the amount of bleach. I used pink Krud Kutter pressure-washer concentrate that I found at the hardware store as my detergent. On the lightest setting, my pressure washer still tears up soft wood, so a hose-end sprayer is safer and more effective. ... show more

  • Not built to last / Poor Quality
Style: 1-Gallon Pattern Name: Sprayer
Have owned for 2 years and both screw tip nozzle and locking trigger are both broken. Cheap plastic manufacturing. Faced with either buying $20.or replacement parts or replacing with a stainless steel version vs this failed plastic model.
