  • Added a booster and roof antenna
Style: 4-Port
We added a roof antenna in this booster to our farmhouse and went from 32 channels to 79 channels with excellent clarity. Well built, easy to install works great.

  • Works excellent!
Style: 1-Port (Pre-Amp)
I have this mounted and grounded on the antenna, which is also grounded, on the roof and so far no issues with durability ; no issues with the harsh upper Midwest weather. I have it set to maximum since I'm in a rural area, and it does the job perfectly. Channels that were once glitchy are no longer glitchy, this helps boost the signal and pulls in the signal nice and clear. My wife is happy as she can now watch most of her football games without the screen freezing, etc. This unit seems to be built very well and of high quality. ... show more

  • Great unit. Works great!
Style: 1-Port (Pre-Amp)
I live in Lake Havasu City Arizona and receive my viewing with an outdoor antenna mounted on a pole some twenty feet above my house roof. During the past several years, I've experienced the signal, from several different channels, 'blipping' in and out. Most every time it did this with both picture and sound. I finally decided to purchase a new power booster for the antenna, the old booster was over twenty years old. Went to Amazon and found what seemed like 'one of the best' out there (Channel Master) and had it shipped. Delivered in 3 days and I installed it. Set it on 'low' power which solved most of the problem, but soon switched to 'high' power. On this setting, during the past week, no more problems! Worth the cost! Give it a try before trying a new antenna set-up! A lot cheaper! Great results! ... show more

  • Big Improvement in Signal Quality—Highly Recommended
Style: 1-Port (Pre-Amp)
I installed this distribution amplifier to boost my antenna’s signal, and it’s made a huge difference. Setup was simple—just plug it in, follow the instructions, and it was good to go. My signal quality is noticeably better, and I now get a full range of local channels that were previously spotty or out of reach. The picture quality is sharp across all TVs, even with some longer cable runs. I appreciate that it’s weather-resistant, so I don’t have to worry about any damage if it’s used in an attic or similar space. It’s a solid, reliable product, and I’m really pleased with the improvement in reception. ... show more

  • Works as expected.
Style: 4-Port
This will boost the signal coming from your antennae to split it to send to multiple TV's. My atennae was being split to go to four TV's but only two were receiving the antennae signal and the other two were not receiving the signal. With this unit all four tv's receive a strong signal. This does not boost the antennae's reception but rather boosts the received signal from the coaxial cable from the antennae. Easy to insatall and set up. I have it installed in my attic near a power outlet. ... show more

  • absolutely did not work for me
Style: 1-Port (Pre-Amp)
Prior to installing this preamp, I was getting 136 channels on my HDHomeRun. Not all 136 channels were watchable though. I'm roughly 35-50 miles away from the towers. Reception mapping tools online show my reception will be "fair" or "weak" on basically all channels. My antenna is a Range Xperts Long Range antenna. I have a relatively short cable run (about 25ft) inside to the HDHomeRun. First, I'll note you need an extra coax cable than what comes with this kit. It includes 1 coax cable, but since you need to use their powered splitter, it requires another cable. I had to order a new cable just to try this preamp. Anyway, I installed it as the instructions show and did a scan. I got 20 channels with high gain. I switched it to low gain and got around 40 channels. All the channels I tried with the preamp were glitchy, even the ones that were solid before. Side note: the LED indicator light is supposed to change from green (low gain) to red (high gain) but mine stayed green. I noticed another review that mentioned the same. I tried researching my issue and the only conclusion I came to was that this preamp adds too much gain to my signal and overwhelms the HDHomeRun tuner. This doesn't make a lot of sense since the signal strength is only "fair" for most channels. Maybe the definition of "fair" is too vague. It'd be helpful if the manufacturer specified the conditions when it's appropriate to use this preamp. Not only is it expensive, but it typically takes most people a lot of time to add or change their antenna setup considering when done right, they are high off the ground and not easily accessible. Based on other reviews, this preamp seems to work for the most part. However, it obviously didn't work for me and in fact, made my reception way worse. I wish other reviewers would list important details, like how far their towers are, their cabling setup, etc. I sent this back for a refund. ... show more

  • Channel Master splitter 3414 vs 3424
Style: 4-Port
I wasn’t sure which amplified splitter to buy and reached out to Channel Master. This was for an outdoor tv antenna on my roof. The splitter being inside my house going to 3 tvs. This is what Channel master replied to me Hello, The difference between the CM-3414 and the CM-3424 is the CM-3414 Utra Mini 4 does not have any filters built into it. The CM-3424 Tv Antenna Booster 4 has the LTE/4G 5G Filter built into it. The CM-3424 is probably the one you want. Thank you, CM Customer Service Upon updating this review the Channel Master cm 3424 worked unbelievably well. Completely restored all my Channels. I highly recommend this Amplifier Splitter. ... show more
