REVIEW UPDATE: Chanjie Furniture provided EXCELLENT customer service and worked quickly to resolve my problem. I will definitely support and do business with them in the future. The Changjie swivel bar stool is made well, yet I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the false advertisement of the size! The seat IS NOT 16.1inches in width, BUT an itty bitty 11.75 inches (NOT even a FOOT!) The bar stools I was replacing are an actual 16 inches, as you can see in the photos uploaded. I can barely sit comfortably in the stools and I am a petite 5’3” and 117 pounds. My average size parents, daughter, and family & friends CANNOT fit their behinds in the stools. I ended up keeping them and just took the back off 2 of them (for less restriction) to place at my kitchen bar table instead of my counter bar which I originally purchased them for. Not sure what I will do with the other 2. TOO MUCH HASSLE to return. SHAME ON CHANGJIE for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and wasting my money and time! PSA: Find a better sized stool!!!! ... show more

We like the look of the stools and seem sturdy (except the one that was already damaged). Really like the swivel too. Only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 is one leg was bent on arrival. It was the last one we built and didn’t notice until it was put together. Really don’t want to return the whole set and not sure yet if we can get the seller to replace just 1. At this point though we don’t feel safe sitting on the one that is bent as I’m afraid it may give out. ... show more

These came packaged well. You do have to put the tops on the bottom legs but, there are instructions and it wasn’t hard. I was a little nervous these wouldn’t hold up well considering we have friends who are 350lbs but they visit often and the stools are sturdy and have not shown any wear and tear. I’ve had these for about 4 months now and we use them daily. I get so many compliments on them as well! ... show more

Love the look of the stools, they are certainly very good quality for the price. Unfortunately, they are not very comfortable. The seats are quite small and can only tolerate them for a few minutes.
