They were super easy to put together and are super sturdy for my kids who are up and down on them all day! The only complaint they have is the back is awkward to lean back into. They look great in our space and are perfect for our island!

I like these chairs. I only needed 2, but could only find this style chair in a pack of 4- Will be saving the other 2 for house parties when we can drag them in for extra seating. I ordered the 26” chair, which I wish came in 28” since the 30” would be too tall. Oh well. Anyway, these were packaged extremely well. I was happy to see there was minimal assembly. Each chair base was bubble wrapped and stacked within in each other. Each chair backing and seat platform were also packaged individually and wrapped for protection. That is the only assembly. The only thing missing was labeling on the hex screws, but I figured out quickly one was slightly longer and should be used for the chair backings and not the seat. The wood grain is a nice finish. The size is good for an average sized adult, but I would say any adult taller than 6’2” or more than 230lbs could be uncomfortable as the seat is on the smaller side. ... show more

These are exactly what I wanted and expected! I surprised myself with this buy! They're probably my favorite item from an Amazon order to date...and I've been a dedicated Prime Member for years! The metal frame isn't cheaply made. They're a nice weight and very sturdy. I feel like I'm winning with these! My hubby even thought they would be crap and was surprised when they arrived. We put the backs on, in 10 minutes, with the tool and bolts provided. You do need an extra pair of hands for that step, but it was pretty easy for us. They come with rubber feet already on them, too. So no digging into my floors! I really couldn't be more pleased with these. ... show more

For the money, these barstools are very nice. They are easy to assemble, they are sturdy, and they look amazing! However, the “wood” or particleboard seat, Will not stand up to long-term every day use. We have had these barstools for about four months, and the seat part already looks bad. The color is coming off and the seat are splintering. If I would have known this before I purchased these, I would have spent the extra money and bought better quality barstools. Don’t get me wrong, they look amazing! And they are very sturdy! But the seat part is very cheap quality. I would not buy these again. I suppose if you were super handy, you could build another seat for them and replace the seat that is on them. ... show more

Would definitely recommend these stools. They came assembled except for the backs, which were easy to attach. They are very sturdy and look great at our kitchen island. I'm impressed with the quality of this product. We purchased the gun metal color, which has a bit of an olive tint.

Me and my wife had been looking around at stores like At Home and other furniture places for kitchen stools and they were very expensive, even the metal ones. I found these stools with the small backing and couldn’t believe how inexpensive they were. After picking the colors we liked, I ordered, but was very skeptical on how durable or nice these would be. Upon delivery, I noticed the colors and the feel were exactly what I had wanted, and as I started to unpack, I realized that there wasn’t that much to assemble. I put together (4) in about 25 minutes. I then tested them and had my two kids (6 and 3 year old) climb and move around on them and they were nice, stable, and sturdy.
