What did I love about this product? There are no words to describe the joy and warmth it brought my wonderful sister who recently tested positive with COVID-19. I was devastated especially since we had just recently lost our dear momma April 6,2018. I could not bare to lose my sister. Though we reside in different states I would call everyday to check up on her all while searching for a little something for her. And so I searched on Amazon for a get well gift. Not just any gift but something that would transcend my thoughts and feelings. As a 6’3” man I sure do give great bear hugs! And am full Of love joy well wishes and more and what better way than a soft elegant blanket I came across this wonderful blanket. She called just as soon as she opened the package and I could not just hear her joy but I could feel her warmth through the radio waves of telecommunications and knew just then she WILL recover. It has been a week or so now and my sister is just about through the last phases of this horrendous plague. She can now commence her days and is her self once more. She didn’t use this blanket long but she said she loved receiving and using it. It is very soft and a nice weight to layer with other blankets. I got this blanket as a Christmas gift for my mother in law who is almost done with her cancer treatments! Thanking God that the journey is done with so she can start to have some semblance of peace and normalcy again. This blanket was to remind her of the saint and diamond that she is! She hugged it sooo tight when she opened it and said she was going home to enjoy her turtle chocolates while cuddled up in her new blanket, watch ghostly shows lol. I chose the "Inspirational quote" throw. I got it about 3 days ago and it's very soft and perfect to cuddle up on the couch. It's warm and is the perfect size for me (5'5") I gave it 4 stars because I was looking for a heated throw. (Yes, its summer. But my husband likes the house COLD and I dont- lol) so at night I need a heated throw while lounging. Well- if you search for heated throws this product line shows up because they have several heated throws available. However the inspirational quote throw is NOT heated. It says that in the fine print of the individual product description but I missed it. I assumed that since I specifically searched "heated throws" AND clicked on a heated throw, that the available options within would all be the same; they are not. Yes it's my mistake, but it was also misleading on amazon/sellers behalf. So be cautious when choosing your perfect throw color/design. BC not all the options are heated. Otherwise its nice, so I'll keep it. But I'm a little bummed that I overlooked the fine print of a product that was in the same lineup as the heated ones.... ... show more

Great for a friend who is ill or has had surgery. First friend had emergency surgery, I sent this to her (love the overnight option) in the gray and she loves it. She went on about how soft it was, and was the best blanket in "everdom". So when another friend had a planned major surgery, I sent it in the teal to arrive the day before so that she could bring it to the hospital, which she did. She also went on about how beautiful and soft and perfect. When she posted photos I could always see the blanket. So then a THIRD friend (all in two weeks) was having a smaller surgery but a scary reason so I thought she would appreciate not only the softness but the uplifting words (I bought all the ones that had the words). I sent her the one in the navy (as it was the only one available to ship overnight). She has asked me twice where I got it, and I just got a thank you card that it's her favorite blanket of all time.
