  • Chalk Paint Pen
They are so nice to use. Kind of chunky which helps with arthritic hands.

  • 20 Acrylic Paint Pens
So far, these acrylic paint have worked well. To get the paint flowing, shake, shake, shake, then push the tip onto paper, cardboard, etc, if necessary, shake again, and push tip until you begin to see the paint flow to the tip, it doesn't happen quickly (that's a good thing, it means the paint isn't thin) so be patient. The colors are vibrant and dry fairly quickly, and they didn't bleed through the printer paper in pic #4. I appreciate the slots/holes inside the packaging (pic #3), it makes it easier to keep the pens in order with the colors on the back of the package, because it gets confusing -> The only issue I have with this set of pens, the paint color differences, some colors don't match the colors on the back, or are difficult to differentiate. I've attached pics for reference... pics #1 & #2 are of the back of the box, pic #1 is without flash, pic #2 is with flash... pic #4 is where I used the broader tip of each pen (in the order of the colors on the back of the box, to my best guesstimation), on white printer paper. According to the box, there are 6 metallic colors (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Metallic Green, Metallic Purple, Metallic Pink), but there are actually 7 metallic colors, after MUCH comparing, all I can figure is the Yellow Ochre is metallic as well, but it is difficult to differentiate between the Bronze and the Yellow Ochre (see pic #5, it's hard to see in the pic but, IRL on the box the Yellow Ochre is darker than the Bronze, so I went with that. The paint in that pen doesn't match the cap very well, it comes out darker than the cap, see pics 4 & 5 for comparison).. The other 2 pen colors that are difficult to identify are the Forest Green and the Teal (see pic #6, the caps in the pic, closest to each of those colors on the back of the box, are how I put them on the printer paper, but the cap of the Teal doesn't match the paint in the pen, it looks more green, as you can see in pic #4). Aside from the color confusion, these are pretty pens, no leaks yet, and no dried out pens, all were tested and used. ... show more

  • Overall, the pens seem to work well with vibrant colors
I ordered the Chalola 20 acrylic paint pens with dual tips to be able to paint miniatures that I print off on my Resin 3D printer. The marker set comes with a wide variety of colors to choose from and I started with silver to color a sword on one of my miniatures. A word of caution. After shaking the pen to mix the paint, you need to push the pen tip onto a hard surface to push the tip up into the pen to activate the paint flow into the tip. The instructions on the pen states to “press the tip to and fro a few times to get the ink flowing”. Be careful, the pen tip was resisting and I pushed a little too aggressively causing the tip to sink too far back into the pen allowing a huge amount of paint to flow out onto my fingers and making a big mess. Once I cleaned up the paint flowed more normally allowing me to paint the sword and the pen seemed to work fine. ... show more

  • Good starter kit + Great for fine details + Dual tip = Space saved
This is a great starter set of acrylic paint pens. I'm an acrylic painter who does a lot of extra fine line work on wood panels and canvas. I have used a variety of paint pens - Posca, Artistro, Sharpie, etc - and these pens are comparable to them all. The ink for most colors is fairly opaque - some of the metallics being a little more see through, but that's to be expected. I like that the dual thickness - less markers to carry around! The 1mm has a plastic nib instead of felt so it doesn't drag pesky micro fibers along with it, disrupting your fine details, like the 5mm nib does sometimes. Be sure to wipe the 1mm nib after each use to prevent paint from drying and clogging up the pen - No need to wipe the 5mm. I also recommend giving these a good shake (with the cap on incase there's an air bubble and paint goes flying!) before each use to ensure that the pigment is evenly mixed. Overall, these paint pens are a great purchase to begin your paint pen collection. Now they just need to expand their color palette to include more unique colors! ... show more

  • So. Much. Fun.
Have had several opportunities to play with these acrylic marker pens in social situations that made everything more fun and able to swap rocks and think of places to hide them for people to discover to brighten up their day. The range of colors including metallic ones with both a fine and wider tip on the marker helped our creative juices flow. Did run out of one color after only two heavy duty sessions, and it would have been nice to have had more blue color choices, but I quibble. Really enjoyed these and working from rock to glass next. Easy for people of all ages and little to no mess. Paint dries quickly and it's a great way to be social and artistic at the same time. LOVE THEM. ... show more

  • Beautifully vibrant colors
These Chalkola 20 Dual Tip Acrylic Paint Markers are really nice. They are beautiful colors – shiny and vibrant. However, they are limited when it comes to their uses. So, for instance, I used the red on a lettered stencil to color a poster board and it did not provide very good coverage. I ended up switching to red paint which covered more completely. These markers need to be shaken and then pressed multiple times to get the ink to flow. Fancy writing with the thin tip is really easy. Again, the quality of these markers is second to none. I’m really looking forward to using them on other surfaces because the colors in this pack are beautiful. Great find! ... show more

  • Good paint pens.
These acrylic paint pens are really nice quality. They write smoothly with even coverage and vibrant colors. The dual tips are great for desired thickness. The paint flows nicely and stays on well on every surface I've tried. They aren't necessarily overpriced but I've seen similar sets for cheaper. However, those may not work as well as these. My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. I do tell it like it is and I am not influenced to provide feedback that isn't based on facts or my own experience. Therefore you can trust my unbiased review as if I were a friend looking out for your best interest and that of your hard-earned money. ... show more
