  • This is simply an updated version of his other book with a slightly different title.
This is an updated version of Homeowner's Complete Guide to the Chainsaw: A Chainsaw Pro Shows You How to Safely and Confidently Handle Everything from Trimming Branches and Felling Trees to Splitting and Stacking Wood. Amazon.com is still selling the older version for more money. This is a good book, but many buyers may not want to buy a very similar book twice. ... show more

  • Great overall manual
Great overall chainsaw 101 manual. Good for the newbie! May not be that great for advanced users but really covers the overall basics. Must have for anyone new to chainsawing.

  • Brian J Ruth's Chainsaw Safety manual
This thing is the last word on chainsaw safety, and it has 12 or so projects that you can do as well. It also has a glossary at the very back of the book for anyone to brush up on.

  • Safety First
I've been using a chainsaw for forty-five years and it never hurts to read up on safety practices. After I read this book I passed it on to my son. He was working on a tree farm and used a chainsaw daily. Good book.
