I bought this because I have a hyperactive little Boston terrier who loves to get into any uncovered garbage can, earning him the nickname "The Garbage Bandit," and by replacing the garbage can in the bathroom with this compact, covered one (which is so pretty, by the way), I don't need to remember to keep the bathroom door closed at all times, lest he tip over the garbage yet again and drag such lovely items as discarded used Band Aids or snotty facial tissues all over the house (I know, ewww!). Looks nice, fits slim spaces, soft closes! I like it a lot. It would be 5 stars if the lid didn't get stuck in the open position regularly; need to bend down to shut. Not a big deal but kind of annoying. Overall nice, mine just may be flawed.

I like the slow release and lid drop. One has to take out the inner basket out to place a waste bag inside it, and the bag itself shows externally (hard to keep bag inside frame). Sturdy enough to stay flat on floor versus accidentally being kicked around. Good waste size capacity.

I purchased it to use for the kitty litter box. Works terrific! I use a 1.6 gallon inner trash liner to store the poop and pee until it’s time to empty it and take to the garbage bin. No smells leak through whatsoever. Love it!

The cover closes smoothly, the foot pedal does not have to be used- you can pull up lid by hand if a person is unsteady. Comes with a container within the can to put lining in , and is easily cleanable. The black is a nice matte and it goes in tight places! Just what we needed!

Great little can for half bath. I had small oblong one but it was getting rusty and it was just a little too small . This one is nice! Fits between toilet and vanity no problem. Some of these trashcans have little dings on the top lid. Make sure that you check them thoroughly when you get them. It is a nice item and perfect for a small space. A bit pricey!
