I bought the ring door bell and it lasted 1 year. I upgraded to the Spotlight Cam Plus in Feb 2024 and the Camara stopped working already. Device health states on line yet no Camara feed. Click on live view it states can't connect. Check health again it states on line. Not easy getting support Update to review. Did not like automated response but once I spoke to a Ring representative they were great. Replaced the Camara right away. Thank you ... show more

    • Ring is WORST Customer Support Ever!

I ordered the ring spotlight camera plus with plug-in option on Amazon. I have bought Ring products on Amazon before, but this time when I received the product, the power cord would not connect properly. I called Ring support and they suggested I received a power cord which is no longer supported by Ring and that I should call Amazon to replace it. I then sent a picture of the adapter with the Ring logo on it so it was clearly a support Ring product even though Ring support implied I was not using a supported power cord. They finally offered to send me a URL to re-order the same power cord and gave me a refund on my Ring subscription. I won't know if this fixes the issue until I receive the new power cord, but this is a terrible answer. Here is the RIGHT answer: "Hi, Mr. Customer, I see you ordered the Ring....... I understand you are having a power cord issue, let me send you a new one overnight through Amazon." That did NOT happen. Doesn't Amazon own Ring? I was treated like my purchase came from the worst Amazon vendor ever when in fact they are OWNED by Amazon. Amazon needs to fix this or I will find another home security vendory. ... show more

As advertised. Like new and guaranteed to perform as good as a new one. Set up in under 5 minutes. Glad I'm staying "Ring". Update 20Feb2024, the dang thing stopped working after a few days. Had to unplug it, let it sit for a minute the plug in again. Worked for another day and repeat. So had it replaced and going to install the new one this weekend. Overall the Ring security cameras are good for the value. Service is affordable. Desktop & phone app easy to use. The only drawbacks are: No alerts when: - the camera loses WiFi connection - stops recording events - stops charging, because it's took cold or too hot Converted 4 cameras to plug in. Now I have 4 solar panels not being used. Ring should warn the customers who live in cold snowy climates, that batteries will only charge between these ranges of temperature. ... show more
