The media could not be loaded. This is the first Kindle I've ever owned so I can't say much about it other than I am extremely happy with my purchase! This refurbished Kindle looks like a brand new one. It was very easy to set up and get started with downloading ebooks. I love how there is a brightness adjuster, warmth adjuster, and a dark mode which is something I'm probably going to use all the time. Navigating through the menus was pretty easy to figure out and swiping the pages back and forth work great too. I haven't read a book on this yet but I definitely will soon. It feels really light in my hands too. I feel like this is a great device to own if you want to either start getting into reading like I am or if you are already a reader. I love this so much. Slim and light weight so it's supper easy to hold with one hand. There's little to no glare on the screen when reading in lighted areas, and has the warm light for reading in the dark. The interface is fast and simple to use. Very straight forward. Omg. This is my favorite purchase of the year. I bought it a week before the prime day and the price was unbeatable. Was worried if it will be in the good condition but it was brand new or at least I didn’t see the signs of use. Speed, size and quality is amazing, not less then expected. I have a Fire tablet that I usually read my Kindle books on and really wanted a dedicated Kindle reader again that was smaller but not too small and that I can read in direct sunlight. While that is still good for magazines and pictures, for basic reading I really prefer the e-ink. The Paperwhite checks off the boxes and I managed to get an early Prime Day deal so essentially paid like $60 off. Cannot tell the difference between this and brand new. Perfect size, excellent battery life and the waterproof rating is helpful. I read by the pool in my community and already a small drop of water hit it and I did not have to worry. Easy to hold . I keep my Kindle right at my nightstand table upright and have a small tower charging strip that has USB ports so charging is no problem. It arrived with about 75% battery which would of course last for a couple weeks. I topped it off a few days later for the heck of it and it took no time at all- it's nice to not have to worry charging every couple days. Very glad I got this. ... show more
