I have 3 cleansers in my shower but I find myself reaching for this one more than any other! It is very gentle, provides me with a fresh and clean skin without drying it out! It doesn’t feel greasy but doesn’t feel like it’s extracting your natural oils either. It’s just lovely! It’s definitely not for cleansing makeup but can work as the second cleanser on the double cleansing routine. Meaning it can work as a follow up cleanser after the makeup removing cleanser. I’ve been using this CeraVe’ hydrating cleanser for a few years now. I like the way it makes my face feel clean and the creamy texture doesn’t dry out my 65 yo skin. CeraVe’ often offers a travel size along with the larger 16 FL OZ value size which is a great value for the already affordable price.

I've been using this cleanser for years. Cerave was recommended to me by a dermatologist and it was one of the best pieces of advice ever. I can't use products with niacinamide or fragrances...this cleanser is perfect. You really want a cleanser that's as simple as possible that gently cleans your skin. I use this with a vibrating silicone face brush and my skin feels amazing afterwards. I layer on my anti acne or anti aging products afterwards and follow up with Cerave's moisturizer (also recommended by the dermatologist)...and I truly believe that sticking with these products as my cleanser and moisturizer are a huge part of how I've managed to keep my skin clear and healthy.
