We love the look and functionality of these lamps! But, we found the bulbs smelled like we were about to have an electrical fire. We ended up replacing the bulbs and all is well!

Easy to put together, but I am glad that I read these reviews because you do have to touch the metal to get it to dim and change brightness....so that is misleading. But you will figure it out. Nice lamps though. Color is a darker gray mixed with a beige. ** Touching the base with your palm also makes the lamp dim and brighten, but it has to have contact from all fingers to work. ... show more

I needed to upgrade my old lamps. I like the purchase. I immediately purchased more bulbs to cover the future. But these are not left on like the others because they are easy for me to tap and turn off. The others I had to walk around when I was exhausted at night when working late so they didn’t get turned off nightly like these. ... show more

These lamps are the right size and easy to put together but 2 come in the pack and they are different shades of tan/brown for the base. I would have given a 5 star but the colors are off but they are far enough apart that I don't want to go to the trouble to return them.

Changed out the LED bulbs provided with soft white. The lamps are just what I wanted. Touch anywhere on the base and it responds. Took only a few minutes to assemble the lamp shades.
