The media could not be loaded. I was looking for lamps that were a bit taller for our nightstands but had a vintage feel . After going to several home stores I just couldn’t find a pair that was what I was looking for . After reading the reviews on this item I decided to take a chance and order them . I don’t normally order lamps or lighting from online stores I like to see the items , touch and make sure it’s the right fit for my room . I’m so happy with these lamps and the two ports to charge the phones is a plus ! I love the touch to brighten which has three settings and you don’t have to fumble around to find the switch on the cord or near the top just touch any part of the wood area in the base or neck . Easy to put together the directions don’t tell you how to put the shade together I would advise to line up the lining which is a velcro like material and then put the round pieces in . The top part which had the area to attached to the wood knob top has to be facing down so the grates are lower I had to redo this at first but easy to figure out . It comes with two bulbs so that’s another great thing and bases have a non skid material on bottom so it stays in place Love them 💕❤️ ... show more

Using in living room. Love the color and size, was unprepared to have to "assemble" the shades, they were flat and had to be wrapped around the frame, velcro to hold the ends together. Kind of weird but I guess that's what you get for $35 lamps. Seem to hold up well although one shade has a small "wrinkle" I'm hoping will flatten out over time. Otherwise they look good, getting lots of compliments ... show more

Mail order lamp shades require a little careful DIY to assemble without kinking, warping or creasing the shade material. Make sure you have a good clean work surface and carefully unroll the material. Don't force the clips and make sure you pull the material very tight around the diameter of the brace, and when you secure the Velcro seam make sure it's perfectly lined up from top to bottom. If it's not, gently pull the material a little tighter. If your Velcro seam is not perfect, your lampshade won't look right. When you're srewing on the top metal piece of the lamp (with the wires stuffed inside) I thought there has to be a better way. But once these are together and straightened out and balanced, these are works of art and they were my bedroom's finishing touch and I love the 3 levels of brightness and the touch on/off. Mail order products sometimes require a little elbow grease, but these weren't too bad to assemble, the price was beyond great, and they look high end and function great ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Nice looking lamps. I thought the shade design was clever for lowering shipping and keeping product in tact. I am sure the USB ports are as good as any integrated lamp ports, which is to say not great, but better than nothing. There is only touch on/off, and mine were finicky and walking near one could change it! One finger touch is a must. Two fingers apparently count as two touches! The real issue for me is these do not work with the Alexa lightbulbs, smart home system or plugs. Alexa bulbs buzz audibly, indicating an incompatibility with the “dimming” system (which is not true dimming, just 3 brightness settings). But even when put on to an Alexa plug with regular bulb, the product will turn off but can’t turn back on again. You can hear the switch trying to, but it’s just not making the connection. Since I exclusively wanted smart home status, I will be returning these and highly suggest the seller put into description the incompatibility as I don’t see that anywhere except now buried in one other review. 2 stars for incomplete description and annoyance that I now have to pack this up again. If I had any use for two lamps elsewhere in my house, I may have kept them as they are nice looking, at least, but the functionality is pretty poor. ... show more
