On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a 3 for ease of installation. 2 being replacing one of the hei headlights and 6 being adjusting valve clearance. Skip the videos the way you need to take the rear console off and all the trim so you can unscrew the 4 screws and remove the little doors all together. This wasn’t that hard but once you do that you need to pry apart the doors anyway to get the part off you’re recovering. The hardest part is prying the top part of the lid off. It’s glued/pastic welded together from the factory and when your prying it apart it sounds like your breaking it. But as some Hawaiian guy said in one of the videos. There is no other way, and I believe him. After you get that off just unscrew the 4 screws and off the top piece comes. Pull off all the staples and clean with mineral spirits/lacquer thinner to get all the adhesive residue off. One of my doors’ foam was bubbling up in the middle so I peeled it up and cemented it back down too. It’s not super easy to line up that stitching line (which wasn’t on the original but looks pretty cool) and the corners of the fabric bunched up when I was installing. I’ve never done anything like this before though, there’s probably some trick. I just cut off some of the bulk after it was cemented in place. After that I used ABS/PVC cement (for plumbing) and glued the two pieces back together. I clamped them for about 15 minutes and it held good. Good luck! All in all very good quality for the price and if you’re somewhat handy it shouldn’t be that big of a job. It took me probably 2 hours total. ... show more

To save you the time an average person won’t be able to install this. It’s ridiculous how it comes. Getting this product is the equivalent to going to a mechanic and asking them to replace the arm rest. Don’t buy. Doesn’t even have installment process/instructions.
