This recliner very comfortable. I sleep in it and I was afraid it it either being too cold in the winter or sweaty in the summer. It’s not. It’s beatable leather. Silly feeling. It reclines all the way back for sleeping and sits upright when you wants to sit up. Its “home” position is with the back slightly reclined but you can use a button to getting it upright. The price is right up my alley. It’s got a handle to use to get it into any position in just a short time. But it’s faster than any other recliner I’ve had. It’s easy to use. The buttons on the remote handle are easy to use and clearly marked. The only reason I marked ut as a 4/5 was the footrest is lower than the seat so I can’t get my legs high enough. The weight is just right. I easily put it together mysejf. I got the boxes from ff my pitch by rolling them in the door. I would say that this is more of a woman’s chair or a smaller man. *UPDATE* After 8 months - I reached back out to the company and I am glad I did. I had started getting a strange noise from the motor. This time, I got someone who wanted to identify the issues and help me. I sent photos and video of what was going on & the sections where you could see that the wood was sticking through the fabric/where there was no padding in place. I was told that the base to the chair would be replaced. I was advised that there would be a brief backorder until the base was in stock. As promised, the replacement base showed up at my home. I got someone to set up the replacement. They had a very hard time because the metal parts that attach the sections of the chair together were not lined up to where they would meet properly/fit together. After a while and some adjustments, the base is set up and it feels like a completely different chair. There is padding where it’s supposed to be, there are no strange noises, and I can finally sit comfortably (I just still wish that the footrest extended when raised, like my old chair before this one). I wish I could’ve spoken to someone who was willing to help me before, but at least I did end up getting help and I did get a chair that I can actually sit in without pain. * Update * After using for 5 months - This is the most uncomfortable chair I have ever owned, by far! The right arm of the chair leans out pretty far because of the way the hinges are placed and the way it assembles. It’s not supportive at all, at this point! The footrest has no cushion over the edges of the board that supports the footrest. You can feel the wood when you’re sitting with your legs up. In the back of the chair, the cushion is breaking down and you can feel the wood support in the back. The chair goes up and down just fine but what good is that when you can’t even sit in it because it’s so uncomfortable? Also, the seller contacted me, being argumentative, when I left my original comment. I do not recommend this chair for any reason!!!!! I did a lot of searching and measuring before ordering this chair, I thought it would be great. I received the chair and all the measurements are great except for the footrest. The footrest does not stretch out like all other recliners I have ever owned, it stops, mid-calf. So half of my calves and my feet have no support! They just hang off the end. The chair feels sturdy to sit in but there is a lot of give in the arms, back, and the footrest when you move or adjust. The surface is soft, the controls work well, the remotes control the position, heat, and massage which are great. At the end of the day, I may recommend this for someone who is 5’2” tall but if you don’t want your feet hangin off, out there, look elsewhere. This is an ok chair for occasional use. This is not for someone who has to sit most of the day, it’s not that comfortable. I can see that the padding will not last for years like I need. ... show more

Have had these almost three months. Pros: Fairly comfortable, big enough, easy to assemble. Foot rest raises independently. Flat recline a nice feature. Cons: Foot rest doesn't close properly, leaving the material sticking out. Fpooot rest padding is almost non-existent. Can feel the hard edges of the board inside anytime I am lounging with my feet up. Also I am only 5'2" and my feet hang off the end. Thought the price was excellent, but now we know why and are stuck with two of them. ... show more
