Be sure to understand the measurements. It was a Father’s Day gift for my husband to replace a large boombox that he kept on his side of the bed. When I received it I was so surprised at the size. It’s tiny! But, the sound is good, and my husband loves it, so we kept it.

Needed a small size CD player to transport for group gathering but wanted a good sound. This player is easy to use and the sound is good. Just need time to see how long it lasts!

    • DO Not Buy Poor Quality CD player broke only after a few uses.
Poor Quality CD player broke only after a few uses. Will not Play CD's at all. Radio still works for now. Its after the 30 day return period so im stuck with it and out almost 40 dollars. Also the sound is lacking with no bass. but kind of exacted that for its size. Buy a brand name like Sony or Panasonic if you want a quality CD player that will last a few years. Brand names are hard to find these days. Amazon full of these generic Chinese brands with some random letters. I have a old vintage 30 year Panasonic Stereo that still works great. I brought this because its smaller for the bedroom. This Chinese crap only works a couple of times. ... show more

    • It's really just an okay CD player, doesn't hold a charge very long...
It's small, compact ~ easy to move around; has a wall adapter too (which is great because it literally does NOT hold a charge longer than an hour or so ~ barely enough time to finish a longer music CD). We tend to keep it plugged in to the wall due to that fact, which makes it less portable, but still... The sound is a bit "tinny", for lack of a better word. We've been playing with the various sounds on the remote (jazz, rock, blues, etc.). However, the classic sound is the one that sounds best for us. When you put the CD in the player, it makes a rattling noise until it settles into the machine, then it stops and the CD begins to play. Plays all the way through without issue. This began happening after the first two or three times we used it, but it still works, so we're not making a huge deal of it with Amazon/seller. The volume can crank on this thing, which is great if you're moving from room to room and still want to hear your music. The remote is super tiny and takes one of those cell battery (maybe a C25? Not sure of the exact type, but it IS a cell battery), which it came with (that was a nice!). The blue tooth connectivity is rather awesome. No issues connecting and staying connected, if that's your choice. All in all, it's okay. Portable CD players are difficult to come by these days unless you want a boom box type of thing, which we did not. This one replaced an under the counter model we had that played three CD's. We LOVED that thing and played it to death, but couldn't find one that would fit our space to replace it. ... show more

This was bought in order to play ragas for a child who doesn't have access to a CD player, so I wasn't expectiing much. The sound is quite better than expected and so far the system works perfectly well, no problems.
