  • Good clarity
Color: Mix Color(black/Grey/Brown) Magnification Strength: 2.0 x
The clarity is really good. Viewing the computer screens is clearer than the dollar store glasses I was using. The blue block coating seems to help some with reflection from behind me, but not as good as the anti-reflective coating on my prescription glasses. I don't think the blue block is that big of deal with LED computer monitors since they don't make any ultraviolet, but the coating was helpful for general reflections. My progressive prescription glasses gives me a very narrow channel to see words on the screen, I can only see a few words clearly then have to move my head to read the rest of the line. I picked these based on good focus at about 3 feet so I can see my entire screen all at once. Much less fatigue and I don't have to tip back my head to focus. Dollar store glasses on the rack tend to be handled so much it is hard to find without scratches. These came in good condition, individually wrapped. Main nuisance was removing the small sticker telling you the power off of the lens. I keep a pair on night stand for reading, a pair at the computer and a pair for working on the car. Bifocals/progressive lens are a pain under the car because of having to tip your head back so far to focus. These give enough focus without the pain in the neck. ... show more

  • Good Sturdy Glasses for a Great Price
Color: Mix Color(black/Grey/Brown) Magnification Strength: 1.25 x
I keep a pair of readers in several places so I can always have them on-hand when needed so I grabbed this CATO 3-Pack Blue Light Blocking Computer Reading Glasses. These are far superior to the cheap dollar store glasses I've been using as spares. They are lightweight but very well-made and sturdy. I do see a bit of a blue tint to them when I pick them up, but I assume that's the blue light filter coating. I've swapped back-and-forth with my previous pairs of glasses and find that I seem to get fewer headaches with these glasses when I'm at the computer for a long time, which is great! I don't know if it is because of the filtering or because they are so lightweight and comfortable to wear, but they'll be replacing my old readers. PROS: - Lightweight and comfortable - Strong/durable - Great price at $12.99 for three pair CONS: - None so far Recommended! ... show more

  • Slim metal readers
Color: Mix Color(black/Grey/Brown) Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
I seem to need to have many of these readers scattered around the house so I don't have to look around for a pair when I need to read something. These are low-profile, metal frame glasses and as such they are easily bent if sat on or whatever. However I did find that they had a snug, comfortable fit, likely thanks to the spring-loaded hinges, which deflect a short distance when the arms are hyperextended. There are small nose support pads, which I found to be comfortable. And I did find the lenses to be very crisp and clear. You get 3 different metallic colors (bronze, pewter, black I would say) and while the colors are actually different, they are all dark tints and look quite similar on the face. I prefer a darker color frame so this is fine for me. ... show more

  • Sharp and clear
Color: Mix Color(black/Grey/Brown) Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
I read a lot. This is the third brand of reading glasses I’ve tried in the last month. I really like the other two glasses; they are clear and comfortable. But these are better. The main reason, which I noticed immediately, is that these Cato glasses are a little sharper than the others. Maybe this is because of the HD lenses but they do have great clarity. They also have a faint tint. I took them on and off several times to check this specifically. I'm neutral about the tint. In all other respects, these are simply great glasses. They feel strong and durable for wireframes, with smooth hinge movement, but feel light when wearing them. They are comfortable with no slippage. Moving nosepads usually annoy me but these aren’t even noticeable. The classic frame, with a matte finish, is a sophisticated look for anyone. They do not come with a case but I could care less. Definitely recommend these. ... show more

  • Very light, comfortable, and excellent clarity for inexpensive readers
Color: Mix Color(black/Grey/Brown) Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
Review of: **CATO 3-Pack Reading Glasses,Blue Light Blocking Computer Readers,Lightweight Eyeglasses with Spring Hinge(Mix colour)** This set of reading glasses come just as described, and are an excellent value. They are very lightweight and comfortable, and the style is actually pretty good too. The spring hinges do a great job of letting them flex a bit but still stay snug on your head. And the clarity of the lenses is very good. These are blue blocking glasses, which means there is a very slight yellow tint to the transmitted light, but this is only noticeable when view a white screen or something like that. I don't notice the tint at all when I am using these, I have to specifically try and see the variation by looking at a light object with and then without the glasses. For the price, these really can't be beat. I love having some spare pairs around, so I can keep a set at various places where I might need them (desk, next to the couch, in the car, in my workshop, etc.). I would absolutely get another set of these when the first set is worn out or if I need a stronger set of lenses. ... show more

  • Great glasses that are comfortable
Color: Mix Color(black/Grey/Brown) Magnification Strength: 2.25 x
These are great glasses. They fit my face comfortably and don't hurt the bridge of my nose. They're blue-light-blocking, which I've never used before. I was a little worried that it would be distracting, but it's not at all, and I can tell that it helps cut down on eye fatigue. I stare at a computer screen for 10-12 hours a day sometimes, so this is nice. And a great value for the price. ... show more

  • Lightweight, sturdy readers with blue light filter bonus
Color: Mix Color(black/Grey/Brown) Magnification Strength: 1.75 x
These are nice lightweight reading glasses. The metal frames have a solid construction with the spring hinges on the arms. The lenses are clear and I have not noticed any scratches yet after a week or so of use. They do fit a little looser than most other pairs I have but still stay on just fine (don't fall off if I look down). The blue light filter is noticeable; I tried to capture it in the third picture above but kind of hard to tell. I'm hoping this is better for my eyes but can't say I can really tell a difference at the end of the day yet. But I can definitely recommend these as better than avearage cheap reading glasses. ... show more

  • Useful but cheaply made
Color: Mix Color(black/Grey/Brown) Magnification Strength: 1.0 x
If you are looking for something cheap for reading glasses I guess you could use these but they felt totally cheap and uncomfortable for me. They were not very clear lenses either
