This set of CATACC PRO dental tools includes 6 different tools in a plastic case. The quality of the tools impressed me right away. They are fully stainless and have a good weight to them. The machining is nice with a very high quality finish all around and details like ridges at the grab points which ensure they are easy to hold, even when wet. The tools include probes, scrapers, picks, scalers, gum cleaners, and a mirror. I originally got these because dental tools are excellent, precise tools useful in a variety of contexts. Now that I've seen how nice these are, I am considering using these only as intended to clean tartar and plaque rather than using them as general use tools like I had planned. They look and feel very professional and seem to do a really good job. Overall, I am very happy with this set and whether you plan to use these as dental tools like they are intended or are getting these for general purpose, the quality and feel are very nice and this would be an excellent choice. These things are the real deal. They should come with a warning label tbh. They are full on weapons! They are incredibly sharp, all metal, and have precision needle-nose tips. There is a lot of variety in angles in this kit so if you need just a slightly different approach, you've got it. The all metal design is phenomenal. It's easy to sterilize and super durable. I have an old dental pick that's probably 25 years old and has a plastic handle with a metal head and if that thing has lasted as well as it has, these ones will last literally forever! They don't have any seams or cracks where nefarious junk or moisture can build up, too, which is nice. While I do actually use these for molar craters (I have holes in my teeth and have to manually remove food daily to prevent ick), these are incredibly useful for a ton of other things. In fact, the day after I got them in the mail, one saved my husband from losing his car key down an inaccessible crevasse in his vehicle. The slim handles really help to make these great retrieval tools. They also make awesome nail art tools, clay art, chalk, oil, you name it. If I sound obsessed, it's because I am lol. I cannot underestimate how dangerous these can be, though. Seriously, use with caution and keep them away from kids or kid-like adults. ... show more

This kit is a fantastic price and a great selection of tools to help keep your teeth in check. I find them to be very well made and sturdy and I love that the case is not huge and bulky, it's compact and just big enough to fit the tools in. I recently had my teeth cleaned (for the first time) and I think this well help me maintain the look of my teeth much easier. My fiancée has been in the dental industry for 20+ years and currently is a surgery assistant at a dental surgery center. As she has been around dental instruments for many years, I had asked her for her help on these tools to get a better review that the normal everyday person would be able to provide. At first impressions, she noted for the price, it is a good kit of instruments. She noted the quality of the tools were average and would be helpful in removing superficial plaque but not good at removing tartar nor are they designed to clean below the gum tissue. They won’t replace actual dental cleanings but may help remove food that gets stuck between your teeth. You should always be careful using these to not harm your gums. Another tip she mentioned is to be sure to sanitize these tools before and after usage. You do not want them sitting around collecting dust then putting in your mouth. The kit comes with a case and each of the tools have plastic tip covers to protect the ends. It takes a bit to fit them all back in the case but it is nice to have as an option, especially when on the go.
