The media could not be loaded. I have two cats that absolutely adore this toy. One prefers the feathers (think flying prey) and his brother prefers the worms (think ground prey). I love that there are two “wands” and two different types of toys. I’ve had these for a couple of years now and they are holding up just fine. The toy parts need replacing and one of the wands doesn’t completely fold in on itself anymore but they are both still functional and still loved by my cats. Every morning when I wake up the cat that loves the worm toy has pulled it off of the table where it is kept and dragged it onto the floor, lol! The plastic pole is thin, but pulling and grabbing the pole has not broken it. The only minus would be the little rope can be a little difficult to keep tied to the pole. I really liked the idea of the collapsing stick. I wish there was a way to click it closed so the stick was shorter. It is really cute and I like the stuff that it came with. I like that it was a two pack. This string definitely broke within the first two days. Best thing you could do is replace with high strength fishing line. It happened to have some and it makes a difference if you make the string longer too. ... show more

The wand, itself, is so flexible and sturdy, even though my cats pull very hard once they have caught the "bird" or "snake" and we have had many hours of fun so far without any problems. My cats love these wands! They are better than any I've ever purchased. They extend so long, like a fishing pole, and make it so much more fun for the cats. I received two wands in the package. The wand that came with the string attached to it works great. It's strong, sturdy and plenty of fun for my cats to play with. It's light enough for my kitten to be able to drag around the house. It is a bit difficult to clip on the feathers and snakes on to the string because the clip is so small, making it difficult to get a good grip on it, even with sturdy hands. The biggest issue I had with this is the quality control; one of the strings was just completely off the wand, while the other was perfectly tied on. It wasn't very easy putting the string back on the wand, but it is possible with a bit of patience. ... show more

First, you can't beat the price for what you get. Two poles and a bunch of different attachments for $5 - $6. Great deal. My moody cat started playing with the pink feather right out of the box - yay! She's actually moving and playing. I got these for my new kitten and he LOVES them, especially the little worm looking ones. My other cat didn't want to be left out of the fun so he started, too. But he was out for blood. .not sure if he was competing with the new kitten or he just doesn't know his own strength (because I sure didn't). He was attacking for real, then he tried to eat it - I heard the feather cracking like he was crunching bone. I tried to take it away from him 3 times but he had a death grip on it. Then he HISSED at me (he has never done that, ever). So I'm like "Dude, it's a toy - and it's not even YOUR toy". He pulled so hard on it that the string came undone from the pole, so be sure to check it frequently after play that it's still knotted tight. I definitely recommend this item but I think it's best for kittens rather than adult cats as far as durability goes. But for playtime it's great for all ages - and even temperamental cats. ... show more
