this company is truly the Bently maker of cat carriers at Jimmy’s used auto prices. We have their cat carrier with wheels as well and its great. This backpack tho, wow, our cat absolutely loves it. Our old old carrier was ok but fell apart after two moves so we had duct tape holding the bottom together. Our cat was not a fan. We had to basically slather the whole thing with tuna, and still have to force her into it when it was vet time. This, we have to take it away from her because she makes it her cozy den. This cat backpack really does have it all and most importantly it’s big enough to fit a thicker cat (she's down to 17lb from 20lb). What Pico de Gallo (our cat) loves about it: 1. Comfort. Its so roomy and well padded AND It includes extra padding for the inside should your cat request it. The back pops out much like an RV does with an extra foot or so tunnel when not being used as a pack. And taking the human into consideration the straps on the backpack are padded like an Everest backpack. It really is very comfortable and includes even a middle front strap for balance. Assuming you got a chonkers too, this backpack is no cheap bubble pack. This could be used to take your cat up a mountain. 2. Visibility. It has a big bay window on the front you can close with a flap if your cats feeling overwhelmed when the outside world is just too loud and spicy. Windows on sides. Windows on all sides of the RV pop out back area. 3. Quality: this thing is built for the long haul. Its probably actually better built and safer than my car. it’s a remarkable carrier. The design is incredibly well thought for both the cat and the cat person. We give it five cans of wet food stars. I wish I lived in it. ... show more

My daughter uses this to take her cat places. He's quite comfortable in it, and even sleeps in it when it's just open in her office. This is a cat that my daughter has even taught a few tricks. He's completely safe and this is a well made carrier and he can see all around him. If you have a smaller dog, this would be a great carrier, and nice that it's a backpack option to carry them around. This cat backpack carrier is seriously impressive! The quality is top-notch and you can tell a lot of thought went into designing it. It has premium vibes. The fabric has such a luxurious soft feel to it. I had zero issues getting my furry friend situated inside for our weekend getaway. The interior is more spacious that it first appears for my 14 pound cat. I also appreciated all the little details like the washable mat and ventilated sides for airflow. What really stands out is how sturdy yet stylish this carrier is. It's built to last but still looks super fashionable for toting around your pet in style. This product is not a generic product that has been rebranded. It comes in a cardboard box with the company's logo on top. When you unbox it, the product is further wrapped in plastic to protect it. Many of the bags for different purposes that I ordered only came in plastic without proper packaging. Some even had a strange factory smell. This one does not have that smell. The bag has excellent branding, which enhances its overall appeal. It gives me the impression that the product is durable and reliable. While I have purchased numerous bags for various purposes, such as gaming, school, and other activities, this is my first time purchasing a bag specifically for a pet. Therefore, I lack a basis for comparison. Nevertheless, I am highly impressed with the bag's construction quality and believe it can adequately support the weight of my cat. However, it can only accommodate one cat, so we may consider purchasing another bag since we have two cats. I appreciate the expandable feature of the bag, which provides additional comfort for our beloved pets when we place the bag down and allow them to rest. My only concern is regarding the ID tag. I looked for it in the package, but I was unable to find it. I am not sure if it was included or not. I believe it would have been better to include it, as I think an ID card with the company branding would enhance the overall appearance of the product. ... show more

I love this back pack carrier. My cat loves it as well. I was glad because my cat is very finicky. I love that it extends to give more room. It's fairly easy to clean and it fits comfortably on your shoulders even if your pet is on the hefty side

My cat Micro has been my traveling partner throughout her life. She has been to 32 states and 3 countries, and we have hiked mile after mile of trails in most of those locations. But now, at the age of 16, she's not able to enjoy long walks outdoors like she used to. So this is a great option for her! I can carry her along with me outdoors, she can still get to see, hear, and smell new sights, and we can keep sharing out time together. This backpack is spacious even when not unfolded. It's comfortable on my back and the interior has PLENTY of ventilation from all sides making it a comfortable ride for my little hiking partner. The zippers are durable yet zip smoothly! There's plenty of pouches for carrying along snacks for me and my kitty, drinks, and other necessities. When we stop for a break, I can easily unfold the backpack and give Micro more room inside, or easily open up a side wall and let her come out on a leash. For us, it's PERFECT!
