The reusable and separately hindged locking clasps are fantastic and long lasting in theory, but the walls of the containers are thin, but more importantly, the rubber 'balloon' seals are simply not tall enough to apply a sufficient seal reliably and consistently, and the seal can easily be bypassed if any flexing of the sides or corners occurs or if any pressure is generated from within your container. (Such as when storing liquids with a high vapor pressure, rubbing alcohol, cleaning fluid, parts cleaners, fermentation, ect. Compared to the more common locking containers that have the locking clasps cast as a part of the lid, these are not nearly as beefy nor are they well sealing. The concept is great, but the execution and development is not. This would have been much better, perhaps even perfect, if they simply did not cheap out so much on the components and did a little more testing and revision. That being said, they aren't terrible, they can work in a pinch if that's all you have, but they are definitely not a very good deal at the current price point. If you absolutely must, you can make them work by removing the seals (from the lid) and pouring a bit of rubber/silicone compound (keep the lid level and stable until it dries out) to increase the maximum pressure that's applied by the rubber seals. The rubber seals are hollow in nature, filled like a balloon, and they will generally conform to the body of the container, but they are simply too short/skinny to apply enough pressure to create a good seal. You need at least 1-2mm of extra sealant to make the seals work 100% reliably and consistently. Overall, it's "okay" as it is, but it's a far cry from what it could be and it doesn't provide a reliable seal unless you modify the lids to apply extra pressure. + Infinitely flexible/conformable seals + Infinitely reusable locking hinges + Comes with cool black labels and a white marker to write out your contents. - Somewhat thin container walls - Hinges can be rather easily knocked out of their retaining slots - Seals are too thin/shallow to apply enough pressure to reliably seal the container - If ANY pressure is applied to the sides or from within, you will easily disrupt the seals at the corners of their containers. - needs modification in order to seal reliably Overall, it's not a bad container, and I made mine work, but I would give it 5 out of 10 and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else unless they had goods that weren't sensitive to the elements or if they had the patience and were desperate enough to modify/add onto the seals to make them seal tight.
