I really like this carrying case. It is an attractive nylon bag with orange zipper poles and threaded accents. It features integrated handles and luggage straps for rolly bags, along with a padded shoulder strap. The bag's all-plastic construction seems sturdy, but I have some reservations, especially regarding the shoulder straps' clip durability. The interior includes a mesh pocket for holding games, cables, or chargers and a stiff mold insert that perfectly fits the steam deck's L1 and R1 buttons, even with a protective case. Additionally, the back of the carrier provides ample padding for protection. However, I noticed that the bag came flipped, with the screen pointing towards the back of the case and the buttons facing outward. I appreciate the interior Velcro strap designed to prevent the steam deck from falling out, although it could be more robust. Despite its minor flaws, the bag seems to be of excellent quality. My main concerns are the shoulder bag's attachment to nylon straps rather than a metal ring and the need for reinforcement for the nylon straps. Although the rest of the bag feels nice, it feels like a potential failure point in the future. My Steam Deck OLED is a limited edition, mainly black and orange, and this bag is also mainly black and orange, so it really works well and matches well. I really didn't expect much from this case when I ordered it. I basically was just looking for something to use when traveling with my Steam Deck. This bag turned out to be surprisingly good. It's built really well. Good materials and feels robust and not cheap at all. The internals are perfectly laid out to protect the steam deck, in particular the screen with it's hard insert that protects the screen, eliminating the need for any other screen protector. Plenty of room for all the accessories you need. I travel with a dock, charger and even a full sized controller in the bag without issue. If I have any criticism it would be the shoulder strap, the clips are plastic and don't feel very sturdy, other than that one drawback I really like this bag. ... show more

If you look at the pictures uploaded by other reviewers, you will notice, that the steam deck doesn't fit the contours of the case that well. I don't have an ROG Ally to test it with, but it looks like it fits better in the pictures I see (uploaded by another reviewer). Overall the quality of this bag is decent. I feel it could be better padded, and slightly larger, but I think this is good enough for most people. ... show more

This is a good bag for an ROG Ally. It fits with room to spare. Another good feature is that it comes with a hard insert to keep the thumbs ticks from getting pressed and protected from other items in the main compartment. One thing I did notice was that while the front of the device is protects from bumps and potential scratches, the back buttons on the Ally can be pressed from outside the bag. I don't think this will damage the device but it can be annoying constantly hearing the click of the back buttons and makea the whole device feel unprotected. Just for fun I tried to put my tab s9 with a heavy duty case, along with the ally, into the bag and it fit, just barely. Not sure if I would use it for the tablet but it's nice to know it can fit, in a pinch. ... show more
