  • Totally Worth the Upgrade
It took me a weekend to get this thing set up, but it was only a part of my room reorg project (still got some cable management to go 🤦♂️). While there were a lot of pieces, everything was pretty straightforward and the material quality was top notch. I also bought the monitor stand and mouse/keyboard tray (sold separately), which just adds to the experience. It showed up in a giant heavy box that I ended up just leaving on the landing. There is a second box inside with all the hardware and parts, the rest of the space is the chair. Do yourself a favor and just carry the chair and smaller box separately, it’ll save your back. The entire frame is very strong and bolted down everywhere. They also included extra support for the pedals and a lot of extra hardware; this thing is a tank. I would be very surprised if any piece of the cockpit breaks before all of my Logitech gear. I can finally drive without worrying about pulling too hard on things or the position of my seat and just focus on what matters. With none of those small distractions, it’s a much more rewarding and immersive experience to race. After racing and drifting in this cockpit, I have found it to be a vast improvement to my previous mobile mount. I had to move the old one over by my desk, connect everything, and then launch Asseto. Now, with a dedicated cockpit, I no longer have to move or setup anything. I use a DisplayPort switch between the sim monitor and my desk monitor so that I only need to press one button to switch back to desk gaming, and a usb hub to allow my Logitech steering setup to always stay connected. If you are looking to set up a dedicated sim station, I would highly recommend this cockpit. It’s a very solid base to build from. The quality of this company’s products have made me rethink the Logitech steering wheel, as it now feels cheap comparatively; I will probably be upgrading to direct drive soon. This cockpit deserves the upgrade. ... show more

  • Good Rig once you get it set up.
It took a little bit to put it together. And definitely a little challenging trying to get everything adjusted right, but once you do, it is very solid. I particularly like the castor wheels which make it easy to move out of the way when not using it. The seat belt is a nice added feature for the immersion effect, but it doesn't tighten up exactly like a real seat belt and has a tendency to become a little loose. I use mine with a Logitech G29 wheel and pedals and they mount firmly to the unit. Great for use on GT7 PSVR2 on PS5. ... show more

  • Does everything you want it do
What can I say - super sturdy. This went in a small area that I was a bit worried wouldn’t fit or would cram the space. Not a problem. The rig profile is a good 20% smaller than my old RSeat R1 that I had to get rid of for this reason. It’s every bit as sturdy as that rig was, for about half the price. The castor wheels are money, and it comes with a bunch of extras too. Have the wheels on both the rig and the NL monitor stand and they are easy to move in tandem with a little care, and a cinch on their own. Overall - this seat is only lacking in a few features but am able to make due with the available space on the hub mount for a makeshift mousepad area for the keyboard. KB and mouse tray can be added as an extra. On last little thing - I am carrying a few extra lbs. I’m not hefty, but the regular sized seat does fit quite snug. I actually kind of like that but some may not. Do not hesitate to go for a bigger seat option if there is one if you register as Obese on the fat scale. ... show more

  • Almost perfect! with some exceptions
Overall Im happy with the product. Period. My main complaint is that when putting the product together I noticed one of the main bolts was a different shape as the others. I didnt pay it any attention and I was saving that bolt for last. Once I installed the chair I noticed that one of the 4 bolts was that odd shaped one. It was stripped and I could not get it to tighten. I swapped it for one of the bolts on the back plate that only supports bringing the two sides together. I hand tightened the bad bolt. Everything seems to be sturdy and fine. If Im going to pay this much for a product you would think that there would be no imperfections or issues. Im not complaining about the hardware but its always in the back of my mind that there is a bolt that is not securely tightened. I also had noticeable scratches on top of a visible area on the wheel plate. I really want Amazon or the company that made this product Next Level Racing to send me a new bolt! This is why I cant give a perfect score because I didnt receive a perfect product. Again, I like the product overall. However, although I think the instructions can use some improvement in its “step by step” instructions.... I had to figure things out on my own, which may have been intentional. Not everyone has common sense or has experience putting things together. I was able to do it, took me several hours. The build was sorta intuitive so anytime I did NOT see the actual instruction, I was able to figure things out fairly quickly. Some of the steps where NOT clear or understood because it simply assumed you knew where the part goes.... but that defeats the purpose of having “step by step” instructions. The harness was not very clear on how to install it if you dont use the motion device. I had to figure it out on my own using OTHER pictures online. A damaged screw was not enough to say this was a bad product. They replaced the damaged screw and everything is fine far as hardware is concerned. My new issue 2-3-2023 is that the seat does not seem to be sturdy. It seems like it is loose or wobbly, it is not firm. it may be that the seat is broken after only a few months. I had to reduce the starts because the quality is not matching the price. The seat back seems to be loose or not stiff, it is not firm. I am only 200 lbs and I have been the only one who has used this product. The seat broke... the back was very cheaply constructed! as of February, 3 months after purchase the seat is broken. Other customers experience this also... I had to remove the stars for this.... ... show more
