I bought this item to protect my X4. I was worried that the premium protective lenses were on the “fatter” side. This thing works really well. I’ve put in the rubber protection as well and it still fits. Don’t expect this to fit your under water body housing though, it is not for that purpose. Despite what it can fit in, It’s still compact enough to fit in a small body bag where I put my rigdance paracord wrist strap, insta 360 stand, telescopic wand and a PYGTECH create mate card reader. In other words, it fits my device like a glove. The inner compartment of the item has felt to protect your camera from scratches as well. Really satisfied with this and couldn’t ask for more. Well, maybe if they can make it withstand a 20 feet high fall, that would make it better, but that’s asking for a lot (sarcasm). ... show more

Face it - the Insta 360 X4 isn’t cheap. This case fits perfectly and protects my camera (and the lens covers I have installed on it.). I also keep a microfiber wipe in the case so that I am always ready to wipe away fingerprints which really can mess up a good shot. I am very pleased with this case.

Great carrying case for X4 as I do not have to take off my X4 from the selfie stick to use it. I use this case in addition to the OEM lens caps as this provides protection to the camera LCD as well. The only improvement that I can think of is the included carabiner could be better as it broke after couple of uses. ... show more

This is exactly what I wanted for the x4. It can be used alone or while the camera is mounted on the stick. Full protection. The little one that comes with the camera too small and flimsy.
