  • Arrived quick! Easy assembly!
Great price. Seller required signature, so make sure someone’s there or have it dropped at the nearest fedex. 4 HEAVY boxes!!! A few bent roof panels due to shipping, but not terrible. It was so easy to put together, I was able to do most of it myself, aside from setting the assembled trusses on the base rails. Took about 6 hours total to put together. I laid it all out in order and made sure all the screw holes were aligned for the next stage pieces. Had to backtrack a couple times lol. Over all I’m very happy with it! ... show more

  • 5 Star potential
This carport could easily have achieved 5 stars if it were not for a few issues. I installed this carport on a dirt/gravel area and did not install on concrete or paving of any kind. Let's start with the positives: Great price! Well made. I like to bracing of the top arches as well as the bracing on the sides connecting each upriser to each other. Each piece/part was well marked with numbered stickers. Shipping was quicker than expected. All parts arrived in relatively good shape (a few small bends on the ends that were easily corrected with small needle nose pliers). I like the outriggers that mount on the uprights helping to give stability. Now the negatives (keeping it from a 5 star review): Instruction manual was basically good but the assembly order was different than what I actually did. I assembled the ground frames first, then inserted the side poles, then assembled the arches holding the roof and inserted them into the already assembled ground frames with the side poles already mounted on the ground frames. I went and purchased extra screws to screw the ends of the roofing sheets together (there are predrilled holes for this, but nowhere in the manual does it say to screw them together as they are being laid together). As it ended up, the screw to do this were provided but no instructions to do so. My biggest beef was the protective plastic saran wrap coating on each roofing shingle and roofing end covers. I spent at least 10x the time removing the wrapping from each part as I did actually putting the part together. The protective wrapping was appreciated, but very labor intensive removing it all. The company could have used paper-backed plastic protective coating to solve this, but they opted to go cheaper with just a plain saran wrap style coating that was difficult to remove cleanly. Also included was 4 rolls of black tape with no explanation as for it's use. I assume that it was for the seams and that it was to make the roof less prone to leaking from rain and melting snow. That tape is a waste because it does not hold when applied and will wear out with weather quickly making it useless. I bought 2 tubes of silicone sealant to seal the seams (an addition $20 expense that I highly recommend making before assembly) to make the roof waterproof. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the quality of the finished product. I assembled 90% of it by myself and only needed help putting on the roof arches and the roofing panels that came down the sides. I probably would have given 5 stars were it not for the time I had to spend removing the saran wrap. If paper backed plastic protective coating were used 5 stars would have been possible. Get rid of the tape for the seams and spend the money saved on a paper backed protective coating. ... show more

  • Nice
Actually a nice setup... Pay close attention to 6 & 7 n get them the right direction (look at the holes) I tried to start w the center roof panel but unless you've got ur frame perfectly squared up it won't work well.... so I started on one side n worked my way over to the other... I still not perfectly square but worked out well in the end... Make sure you overlap the roof panels correctly from one side to the other... was almost done when I realized I had the entire left side backwards... I can't afford $3k+ for a concrete floor so I built a 2x8 frame n attach to bottom rails. The truck will hold the carport in place during any wind storm.. ... show more

  • Delivery was a nightmare
Got in 3 different delivery's and had to sign for and FedEx kept damaging and pushing back delivery, so for 6 days I had to figure out someone to be home all those times. Product is a little flimsy scratched and dented mainly due to Fedex. But for the price it is OK. I added end walls and is very sturdy now. ... show more

  • HOGYME 12x20 FT Heavy Duty Carport
Fast shipping, arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Arrives in 4 100 lb. boxes, so be nice to the delivery driver and maybe he'll put them close to where you'll need them. I had a couple of questions and contacted customer support; it was the easiest and fastest experience I've ever had with any customer support anywhere. They were Great. It looks like assembly will be pretty straight forward, I don't anticipate any problems. If anything comes up, I'll update my review. ... show more

  • Terrible roof panel design
Structure is fine, easy to assemble. Cheap-ish quality feel to it but seems like it will hold up for a bit. Main issue is with the roof. It seems impossible to keep the roof from leaking. The way the panels are laid out doesn't allow for water to run off without hitting a seam. Pictures in the add made it look like they were full length panels. At least that's what it seemed like to me. Now I'm going to have to try to liquid rubber the roof to keep it from leaking. If I could do it over again, I would save up a little more money and buy something nicer with a better roof layout. ... show more
