This pair is made in Pakistan, I believe. It cuts ok EXCEPT at the very tip (about 1/2 long) where the 2 blades slide over each other instead of cutting hair. My old Italian pair cuts so nicely thru the entire blade length. Do not buy any hair cutting scissors without knowing where it was made. Top are from Italy, Germany. US is mid range.
