I am loving these pots and pans. First of all they were very well packaged. The color is beautiful! They’re truly nonstick and I’m not even bothered by the fact that they’re not dishwasher safe because they’re so easy to clean. Some reviews I read mentioned that some of the pots were dented. My casserole did arrive with a dent however they all have a warranty and I contacted costumer service the day I received them. Costumer service was a piece of cake, they asked for a picture of the damaged product and my mailing address. I responded and the very next day they sent the tracking info for my replacement. I will be using these for a long time and I even ordered the knives to match the pots. If you received a damaged product, i recommend contacting costumer service, they were great and they honor their warranty. ... show more

Someone got rid of a box and it looked very clean. When I opened it there were two old nonstick cookware with lids from the Carote brand, somewhat scratched on the bottom by some metal utensil. I took them, washed them and made rice in one. When the rice was done I took it out. When I started to stir the rice that always sticks and is a lot of work, it came out easier than loose rice. With just a little force all the rice came out in one piece and the cookware did not look finished from using only a little of the color of the sauce. Because of this, in the other one I melted cheese and everything came out, even the burnt part. The high heat is the medium for all the other brands I have bought in my life. They are extremely easy to clean. Maybe you can imagine why I bought the largest set. The size is just right. The thickness is perfect and stackability is very easy and safe. I like these pans. Got em a few days ago and have used them a few times. They heat up nicely and evenly. The silicon utensils are nice. The lids are well built for the price. I can't speak for the durability yet. The 2.4 qt sauce pan arrived with a broken handle. This could have been simply a defect in the firing process, because the pans were packed pretty well to distribute stress in the box. After an email to Carote's customer service, they sent a new one. So the main complaint I had has been addressed well. The handle appears wooden but it is a finish. The inside is more like ceramic. This is a non-stick surface (so it probably has some kind of teflon) and it seems fairly durable; still, I would recommend only using silicon/wood tools with the pots. ... show more

I have been reading reviews and watching videos for the past few months trying to find a quality set I would love. When I found this one I did see some reviews indicating that they received the set with one pot that was “bad”. All the reviews I read stated that the company replaced the pot very quickly and easily which made me feel confident in the order. I ordered the 21 pc white set and indeed received one of the faulty pots. It seems like a factory “misprint” for lack of a better word. The pot is slightly bent which makes the lid not fit. I contacted the company, sent pics& video and they replaced the pot quickly! The only issue I have now is the discoloration in one of the pans :( Perhaps this is just the price you pay for having white pans. I will be contacting the company to see if they have a resolution to fix the discoloration. If not I will just have to live with it. The set beautiful, lightweight and very easy to clean! I truly LOVE the set! I would have given 5 stars if I had only received the defective pot and it was resolved quickly. But with the discoloration of my large pan I'm a little disappointed. ... show more

First off, these pots and pans are amazing looking. I like the spotted look, since I bought the black set. Just like any other pot and pan set, if you cook with too much flame, you will ruin them, or stuff will stick. Secondly, the material heats evenly so far and the metal is non-stick. I will say though, sin e the handles are coated in some sort of silicone or rubber heat resistant material, they aren't flame proof. If you have your flame too high or off center for the handle to be above the flame, they will get burnt. That's your own fault if that happens. The set is great. I did have the 6.5 Qt pot come be t and wouldn't fit the lid, but customer service handled it quickly. Just follow the instructions on the card that the company sends with the set. Just got my set last night, opened it this morning and noticed a chip on the large saute pan. Not a big chip, but it's sharp where it's chipped, and being brand new, it shouldn't come with any flaws. Update...reached out to customer support, and they are going to replace the pan that is damaged. My husband and I love these pots and pans! They work well, food doesn't stick to them, the handles haven't gotten hot when cooking. They are so easy to clean too. Highly recommend buying these. They are so worth it! ... show more
