Cant say enough about this electric scooter. Let me start off by saying I am 6' tall and this electric scooter is perfect for my height. No more crouching down with my knees to ride. The handle bars are so comfortable with the huge display which illuminates nicely in the day making the readout display easy to read. This electric scooter feels like more of the expensive one's that are in most of the downtown urban areas. I have been riding now for 2 months and it is truly a joy to coast around my community so effortlessly. The craftmanship and sturdiness of this scooter is what I think sets this electric scooter apart from other brands I have owned. Acceleration is very smooth and it comes with 2 speed levels for beginners and more advanced riders. Front and rear brakes are very responsive to the touch and requires very minimal effort. Turn radius could be better but not bad at all and I have no problem maneuvering around obstacles. My wife rode the other day and she now wants her own so I guess I will be ordering one for her so we can ride and explore our downtown area together. Kudos to Caroma for getting this right. I would definitely recommend my friends to buy especially for the price point and comfortable ride. I will provide an update on battery life after I ride for a few more months. Serves the purpose get to festivals and back. BUT in 235lbs doesn't get to max speed and I've used it appropriately 30 times and now it's a hesitation (results in strong jerk someone popawheely style start) I ran the battery down 1 time.

Overall, I’m happy with the new scooter. The product delivers the advertised speed and performance. It took me about 20 min to go step by step taking the scooter out of the box and assembling the 4 screws needed. After assembling it took about 40 min to fully charge and go outside to test it out. The controls are really simple something I really like and the rear suspension makes the ride comfortable, the motor is powerful and does not lack power going uphill with an adult male in the scooter (200 + LBS) The only drawback I have about the scooter is that it breaks from the front tire so when you need to stop rather quickly it can be a little scary. ... show more

When I received this, I was fearful that I would have to do some complicated assembly. I took approximately 10 minutes to assemble it. It was already charged to approximately halfway, so it was ready to go out of the box. PROS: It’s very solid and well-made. The pick up is quick, It charges relatively quickly, The headlight is bright, The seat is comfortable. CONS: Wish it had a way to lock the ignition ,and the handlebars could be longer (wider?) This was definitely worth what I paid for it and am considering getting another one! ... show more

Not water proof at all. 1 puddle and it failed. Had to remove the bottom plate and took over an hour with a hair dryer to get it to work again. Also, the sale is bogus, bought it 2 months ago for $379.00 Prime, now they want $329.00 plus $70.00 freight. Not a deal.
