Please save your money and don't buy this product. I was soo excited to recieve this item for my fish tank but when I opened the package, it was smaller then my palm. It would not have filled my fish tank at all. I was very disappointed. They can be a bit pricey for use for an aquarium. But they are worth it. Being that they are tumbled. They are smooth all the way around. This makes it ideal for a Betta tank, because they don't have any sharp pointed edges that a betta could rip its fins on. I have 4 lbs of the Amethyst in a 2.5 gallon, and 3 lbs of Rose Quartz in a taller 3 gallon aquarium. I guarantee if you buy these for the purpose of an aquarium. You will not be disappointed.
