  • Got to use my new Magic Plus Paddle yesterday!
Color: Sunrise Size: 240 cm
Got to use my new Magic Plus paddle yesterday and I love it. Within the first few strokes I could tell a big difference in propulsion and responsiveness. I had to laugh after I had paddled a little over 3/4 mile and overtook several other kayaks and the gentleman asked me if I had a little motor on my kayak or was I just that fast. I finished my circuit of the lake and was back to the boat launch quite a bit faster than normal. I think I may go ahead and order another paddle for my older kayak. ... show more

  • Pretty decent oar
I dislike that it’s a bit heavier, but due to that factor you can move more water, so it really depends on the sort of ride you’re going for. Overall it’s a good oar. I’d buy another.

  • Excellent paddle
Color: Seaglass Size: 230 cm
Very easy to assemble and break down. Most important great for kayaking. My only experience has been lake kayaking and it has worked perfect. Also the seaglass color scheme is amazing.

  • Fun!
Color: Ahi Size: 230 cm
I LOVE this paddle. It's comfortable to hold and use for long days out on the water. Being available in so many fun colors was an added bonus for me! It held up well to an adventure paddle around brush and in shallow water, including pushing off the bottom of the creek and in gravel. I really can't say enough good things about this paddle! ... show more

  • Performance and durability
Color: Photic Size: 240 cm
I live on a river and kayak frequently, at 140cm perfect for my 13 ft kayaks. My first pair of Carlisle are still in working order after 22 years of use and abuse. An excellent product and value. Highly recommend

  • Good paddles
Honestly, I don't know much about kayaking paddles. I chose these because I wanted to find paddles that were fiberglass and had several adjustable angle positions. After using these about 5 times, I would say that they are not exactly as light as I thought they would be, but they do work well. I was annoyed at first by the amount of drip that came off of these, but ordering a few extra drip rings helped with that issue. If I had to order new paddles again, I would probably stick with these in spite of the issues that I mentioned, since I don't want to spend three times as much on a carbon paddle. I think that these ones feel comfortable in the hand, and they are pretty easy to store since they break into two pieces. I just hope that they hold up well this coming spring when I start using them more often in rivers with rocks and other obstacles. ... show more

  • Great paddle
The paddles are very well made and have no play when connected. I have used them for 100+ hours and have not found one negative thing about them. They are light and have 3 different settings that can accommodate different paddling styles. This is the second pair we have bought, one 230 cm and also a 220 cm. I believe they will go the distance. Oh yeah, the wife even attempted to crush one by accidentally shutting the garage door on it. The paddle was in an old fish tank and was standing upright directly underneath the garage door. The garage door was shut on it 3 times before I realized what was happening (because the paddle was bowing). I went and looked at the paddle that was in perfect condition. It took a beating and still paddles as it was brand new. The shaft did not permanently bend and the paddle itself never showed long-term signs of being bent. Pretty good if you ask me. Check the warehouse deals as I believe I got one pair for around $60.00 free shipping. ... show more

  • Love mine.
Color: Dark Cherry Size: 230 cm
Love my Carlisle paddle! Looks really cool with my red Old Town Loon 120! Great feels and really digs in. Two pieces makes for safe storing in your vehicle. Ability to feather or not. His is actually my second Carlisle I apparently left mine at my last outing and someone is a very lucky person to have found it. Just got too busy loading and securing my kayak by myself. Might find a nice looking way to leave my phone number on this one. ... show more
