The paddle is great. It cuts through the water with little force. Very light weight. I would have give. 5 stars but my paddle arrived damaged. The packaging for shopping was not the greatest and it arrived with one end of the paddle being bent. There are two spots where it has been flattened instead of being rounded. Beautiful colors! Shaft is a beautiful vibrant blue and the paddles look tie dyed blue and green! I bought it for my husband and liked it so much that I'm getting one for myself! I also like that it breaks down into 2 pieces Carlisle is a great brand and I have a Carlisle day tripper one piece.
