I use it on a Meta Quest 3 and while playing it keeps my headset fully charged for hours of playing. I honestly can't play long enough before the batteries are empty before stopping. I've played for almost 5 hours straight before and had about ⅓ left on the belt and a fully charged headset! It's easy to adjust. Don't waste time shopping around there's a reason it's recommended. This little buddy right here gives you plenty of extra hours to keep the party going. It charges the Quest 3 while you play and it doesn't take forever to recharge back up for use again. Super strong magnetic belt clip works like a charm. I use it across my chest off one shoulder at an angle mostly, but also works perfectly as a belt. You don't notice it on you while gaming either it's not bulky or super heavy. A great battery extender for your vr headset. My husband and I actually both have 2 and we alternate them out and are able to game for hours on end. We have the longer belt and I wear mine loosely on my waist and my husband likes to wear his crossbody sometimes, so there are options to how you wear it which is nice. ... show more

    • Extend Your Quest-ing Time
Long story short - this will extend your VR playtime. On a Quest 2 during intense gaming (Asgard's Wrath II) it holds the battery level steady. Meaning if you start your session with 90% battery, it remains there for the duration of the session, until something changes - finish gaming and the battery begins to charge (if the Carina still has juice), or the Carina is drained the Quest 2 begins normal draining. Haven't used it in a single session to completely drained, but after an hour-or-so the Carina charge indicator LEDs still shows 4/4. Wearing the battery is comfortable, although the strap is not overly pliable as such it is rough on the skin when worn sling-style, as it likes to ride up and rub on the side of the neck. Overall a really good, no-more-weight-on-your-noggin battery option to extend VR sessions beyond the sad stock Quest 2 battery duration. ... show more

The battery pack has been wonderful. I've used it everyday sense I've bought it. I only have one bad thing about it... it takes forever to charge (only because I wanna play, play, play) ill buy a second one to use as a backup. Overall life of charge while playing is outstanding. I love it. You can wear it how you want. Around the waste, chest, shoulders. Even while sitting, you can have it next to you, not even attached on your body. Last thing, it's vert important that you use the meta quest charging block. A regular phone block will burn up the battery/plug/cord/box if left alone. Might even cause a house fire. PLEASE USE THE VR CHARGING BLOCK. lol 😁 ... show more

Having owned every Meta VR headset (except the 3 -- I'm holding steady with the Pro), I know a thing or two about battery packs. They are essential and also very difficult to find a way to carry them unobtrusively. On older headsets they are great at doing double duty as counterweights for the very front-heavy devices, but with the Pro I've found that adding anything to the strap itself puts it way off balance. This product is the best I've tried. I had been using a small pouch around my waist to hold a battery bank, but it wasn't secure and would shift around distractedly during active games. The W1 does not have this problem. It's solid and heavy enough to stay put, but not heavy enough to weigh you down. In fact, it's the closest to an invisible battery pack I've ever tried. When worn properly with the cells at your back and the cord running up from behind, it stays completely out of your way and you easily forget it's there. I couldn't feel any heat at all. It's fantastic. It's a bit of a pain to assemble and get the belt end through the loop, but that just means it's not going to fall off without warning. The magnetic clasp is very strong but fairly easy to separate by twisting (not sure what other reviewer means by polarity being reversed. Might have gotten a dud). It arrived only half charged so I can't address battery life yet. But so far this is well worth the money. Might save up for a second so I never have to go back to old methods again. Update: I've been using this with the Pro and I can confirm that it keeps up with the Pro with regular gaming. It even adds a few percentages by the end of my session. It does fall down to empty somewhat quickly (perhaps 2-3 hours battery life) but also recharges quickly. I can't say enough good about this thing. ... show more
