The canopy was easy to set up. The first time I set the canopy up I had to attach the canopy top. After the canopy is set up you can fold the canopy up with the top still attached to the frame. And, it all fits easily into the carry case that has wheels. Note: When setting up the canopy for the first time only velcro the corners in place. The other velcro attachments on the canopy can be secured to the frame after the canopy frame is in the fully extended position. I also own a major brand canopy but it's ten times more difficult to set up, it's heavier, and the canopy top needs to be removed each time for storage. This canopy can be set up easily because the canopy top can remain on in the carry case. The canopy is ideal for activities where the canopy will be up for a couple of hours or a day. Pros * Easy set up (possible with one person, but two would be better) * Folds with canopy top * Fits back in carrying case easily * Relatively light - easy for one person to roll around and manage.     • Good for the price
For people who said this product was not sturdy, it may be that they did not correctly set it up. Once set up properly, it was very stable and withstood light wind for many weeks we have had so far. It is fading a little bit though. Not sure how long the fabric will last, but the frame is pretty good. ... show more

    • Cheap and effective
I've had this out 5 times now. Simple set up with two people, even easier with three. Get it up or down in less than 5 minutes. Included stakes were effective for light wind, but when the wind picked up (and destroyed a neighbor's similar canopy) I took this down quickly. Maybe purchasing those weight disks would help. Definitely makes a difference for shade and rain protection in camp. Carrying case is nice with wheels for dragging across flat surfaces, but I don't think they'll last (this is a bargain basement canopy, what do you expect?) The case does have two handles for easier carrying between two people. Glad I made the purchase, we'll see how long it lasts. ... show more

    • These Tents Serve Their Purpose at a Great Price Point.
Never used this type of canopy before. The shipping box seemed a bit flimsy on arrival, but all was fine out of the box, bought (2) . Read tons of reviews on many other tents. Best advice - GET WHEELS. THEY WERE a MUST to get to set up area. You could, if needed pull two at a time. Took the warranty just in case. Ordered (2) more and only use monthly for a homeless event in a parking lot. Being in Vegas SUN can be bad so we are going to try and clamp sheets on the side to block the sun.we are also going to try to clamp a sheet over head between 2 tents. Finally for wind, you need weights we are making our own. Hope this helps.. ... show more

I already own an easy-up; however, it's very heavy and time consuming to put up. I was looking for something less expensive, lighter, and easier to put together; I found it. My only warning is that if you are putting this up yourself, you need to run to all 4 sides multiple times to get it all stretched out, but it's super light, easy to put up, and one of the most affordable, and durable Canopy's out there. Love the ease of raising the canopy and the nice bolt construction. Rivets are just not good at the beach. Easy packing and rolling of product with wheels on the case. Nice tie downs on all 4 ends are very helpful. Good price in relation to similar products on the market. Would recommend the product to all my friends. ... show more

This canopy is great. During my sons soccer season, the temperature was regularly in the 90's, and with the sun directly on us, it was very hot. We got this, and it provided great share, and is sturdy. The boys were all able to sit under this on a blanket comfortably and it helped immensely. I also will use this when I am working outside to get out of the sun when I am going to be working in a specific area. As far as the canopy itself, it is not super thick, and I anticipate it getting worn thin and small holes forming if something snags or punctures it after years of use, but for the price, it does what I need it to, and I have no problem throwing some duct tape to patch it if needed to. After a full soccer season, and using it several other times outside, it is still working perfectly, and there are no holes in the canopy. ... show more

I purchased this canopy in April but didn't set it up until late May. The structure and assembly went fine. I left it up all summer, in my driveway and by late August-early Sept., the canopy had 5 rips, measuring from 5" to 12", most of the rips were at a right angle. The canopy was set up in an open area with no over hanging trees etc. After contacting Amazon about this, the seller refused to do anything. I just wanted a replacement canopy, or to purchase a heavier duty canopy, even a patch kit, but I did not ask for a refund or complete structural replacement. The seller just refused to even contact me or offer any options. I am writhing this now, because my neighbors chipped in and bought a new and better canopy as a present and I am throwing this one in the garbage, after having to salvage the several tarps, I have been required to buy and use. ... show more
