  • Great anchors, much better than sandbags or 5 gal buckets.
Works great, much better than the stuff we used before - weighted 5 gallon drums or tent-specific weighted sandbags. I don't use the ropes, I use ratcheting tie-down straps. The tent (a good quality EZ-Up) will flex significantly in wind without blowing away. The stakes hold well, as long as the ground is firm. We've had, in the past, 3 or 4 10'x10' tents fly away and we've experienced lifting legs at 1 or 2 corners of the same size tents. No movement with these anchors. Tips: - you need either a super big screwdriver or a crow bar to screw this into the ground. - make sure you're clear of any sprinkler lines/hoses (you need to ask the land owner if you don't know where they are) - ratcheting tie down straps are much better than any rope, at least for me. - save the box, I store them in the box they came in. - make sure the ground is firm. If you think the anchor may come out then redo it. - you need to set your tent up on the dirt/ground. Pavement doesn't work. ... show more

Much better way to hold a canopy carport down than just trying to weigh it down. I also used 2X 12" long 1/4" threaded rods with nuts on one end as stakes to hold each leg from moving.

  • It is worth the price and the work to set these anchors.
The anchors were a challenge to drive into the ground even using a piece of rebar, but they seem quite stable once set. I bought 2 sets as I had to secure a 20’x10’x9.5’ carport. I like this product.

  • Held up at the beach
These work great at the beach. Very simple to install, but make sure you have a screw driver to help drive these down. I did not use the rope that came with the kit. I felt it was just too bulky for my application.

Not as heavy as I would like, but will work well on light applications.

I had purchased a garage in a bx and after reading the reviews from that purchase i decided to go ahead and get an anchor system and wow was i impressed. I did not have anything to compare it to, but we have had some wild storms recently and i was impressed at how these anchors stood up. They did take some work to get in the ground due to the size but overall i can say i have no concerns over my portable garage flying away. ... show more
