Instructions a little confusing, but when you get the hang of it’s easy to install. Quality is okay so far I haven’t put anything on top so I don’t know how they’ll be with a roof box on top. They fit my car 2017 Honda Civic.     • I threw it away. It was too complicated. The instructions were not clear.
I just threw the product away because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of re-sending it back to the seller. I wasted my money unfortunately. It was difficult to assemble because the product itself came jammed and it was scratched up as well. The directions were unclear you kind of have to put two and two together. I had done some investigation on it to further clarify how everything goes. locking it wasn’t too bad, but that took a little practice too. Because I didn’t know that the component doesn’t go all the way down unless you lock it first. Then the metal piece just went in more as I tried to adjust it up and down, to take it out which is what the instructions said and you can’t pull it out once it’s in unless mine is just broken. I mean it wasn’t rocket science like a bunch of the stuff I knew without looking at the directions but then at the same time it’s like everything should fit together effortlessly and that’s not the way the process went. It felt like a puzzle with 100 different pieces to a different puzzle. Then it’s the fact that my product already came damaged. It looks like everything was used. It was scratched up beaten, and everything wasn’t in perfect condition. Bought as a gift and helped install. The metal ratchet clips are sharp and will cut you. Other than some blood, installing was not bad.

Mounted these on my 2013 elantra for my kayaks. the roof rack is no frills and the hardware is a bit on the cheap side. Keeping in mind this is a budget option, it does its job. only think is the system it uses to ratchet and lock in place is a bit sticky and fiddly, but eventually you get it. the parts look mostly plastic except for the actual bar and clamp assembly, but works fine.
