Checked Ebay too and all the non-inflatable car beds are $100+ so I thought this price was too good to be true but the product turns out legit. I no longer have to struggle trying to sleep over the seat belts and this can just be folded and hunged up behind the two front car seats when not in use. Material on the inside is hard covered by a thin but high quality polyester like leather. Which is exactly what I want, can't sleep on air beds I need a flat surface because I tend to move around and this will reduce all those squishy air bed sounds that disturbs my sleep ... show more

I bought this to sleep on during car trips. Used it twice. It's very hard and not very comfortable. It did give support, though. Nit highly recommended if that's what you might be using it for.

I got this for my old, 99 Subaru Forester. It just fits. Width is perfect, front to back fits since I am short but if I were tall the seat would not go back enough. Be sure and measure your car. It is pretty well made and should last for some time since my dogs are usually pretty quiet in the car and have never done any damage to the interior. It looks really nice and will be easier to clean than the old seat protector that had to be removed and washed. This one is very easy to install and take out. It takes only a minute to do either. My only complaint is there is no padding, and it is very hard. The inside of the unit is probably something like masonite/hardboard and has no give to it. This does make it a good platform for sitting packages, etc. but not a comfortable for dogs, cats, or humans. If it had a bit of padding, I would have given it 5 starts. ... show more

It's so-called bed forms a stable, strong platform in the backseat or on the floor of a minivan. I use it to protect the interior while hauling auctions from the post office everyday. My dog likes ventilation from the very slightly padded hardboard. She has no desire to jump into the front or the third seat anymore. When not in use the bed folds up to a size that fits underneath the seat and unless I need it I don't even remember that it's there. ... show more

This is a folding car mat with a carrying strap. The stitching on this seems very good, and the material is leather like. Each section is firm; it is likely a dense cardboard. This is helpful to add to a backseat so a dog, etc can lay flat. This also makes a great base for inflatable car mattresses to help protect them.
