The fixture is beautiful, however the instructions that came with it were for something else. It also will only take very small lightbulbs. Luckily I had some from IKEA....

One of the cheapest upgrades for your inside living space. I purchased two of these to replace my 20-year old white sconces. Even with the light bulbs turned off these look great! The mounting brackets are flexible and will fit a wide variety of wall brackets. This was my first attempt installing new light fixtures but the process was simple. Make sure the black wire goes to black and white goes to white. The kit comes with a grounding wire as well, but I re-used the one that was already installed in my light brackets. Each sconce will need two light bulbs. I used soft lighting LEDs and they look great and there are no dark spots on the sconces. ... show more

We read the reviews and were concerned that the light might be uneven. We simply turned our bulb (narrow candle style like below) downward slightly. You can rotate the socket.

All 4 sconces do not look anything like the posted photo, very heavy green colors. My intent was for the sconces to compliment my furniture. Design flaws: 1) When Illuminating, only the right side illuminates. The left side does not have a socket to install a bulb, the visual impression is that the fixture has a burned out bulb. 2) You will need a person with hands small enough to turn the screws below the actual light bulb area. 3) The foam packing material is a pain to deal with, it will fly all over when you open the plastic wrapping like cotton candy.
