Wobble feature lets you reach and turn fasteners that can only be reached at an angle up to 15 degrees. Spring-loaded ball detent holds sockets securely in place; knurled grip for easy hand turning loosened fasteners. Premium Chrome Vanadium steel tempered with our proprietary heat treatment process to withstand more torque; coated with our corrosion resistant chrome plating. Three 1/2 in. drive wobble extension bars: 5, 10, and 15 in. long. The Capri Tools 1/2 in. Drive Wobble Extension Bar is two tools in one. It can be used as a wobble extension bar when an offset clearance is needed or as a regular rigid extension bar. The wobble feature enables you to reach and turn fasteners that are obstructed and can only be reached at an angle. It allows up to 15 degrees offset. Spring- loaded ball detent holds sockets securely in place. When fully inserted (not at an angle), the extension bar locks into a regular rigid extension bar. Knurled non-slip grip is designed for hand turning loosened fasteners. These extension bars are constructed of premium Chrome Vanadium steel tempered with our proprietary heat treatment process to withstand more torque. Each item underwent careful polishing and protective plating process to achieve our own chrome finish. Three 1/2 in. drive wobble extension bars are included in the set: 5, 10, and 15 in. long.

Used the wobble setting a few times. Good if the bolt is off a little bit. Not a replacement for a universal, but very good for smaller angles. Sockets can be pushed further in and they function just like conventional extensions. Chrome is bright and the knurled grip is a big help. Nice selection at a good price. Id recommend. ... show more

Ordered these after I broke a couple of my 1/4 inch wobble extensions. I became familiar with Capri Tools after looking for specialty VW triple square and odd size torx and external torx sockets/bits for working on my wife’s 2013 turbo beetle. I’ve been using their master sets for those tools for about two years and am impressed with the overall quality and durability of their line. So, I decided to give these a shot. The extensions come in a black tray with a clear cover. It’s not a sturdy tray but should do fine in a stationary tool box drawer for organization. I would toss the cover as it doesn’t offer much more than dust protection. The extensions work great! Used them to help replace the valve cover gaskets on my Mustang. If you push the socket all the way on, it locks the socket like a regular extension. Give a little tug on the extension while holding the socket and it pops out a couple millimeters to allow the wobble. My only complaint is a minor one. The shortest extension has no knurl on it so it can make turning the shaft by hand somewhat diffiult in tight spots with oily/greasy hands and on the longer extensions the knurled area is fairly short in relation to the length of the shaft and towards the middle instead of the top. Not enough in my opinion to take a full star off. 1/2 at most. ... show more

I rebuild a lot of older bikes - have stripped 6 to the frame in the last 6 weeks and rebuilt them. Every so often you get a fastener in an odd place that needs a wobble extension. These Capri brand wobbles work fine, can take a lot of torque and are nicely made. They are not Snap On but they also don't have the Snap On price ($125 for a similar Snap on set!).
