  • HOW IT WORKS: Yarna CWD30 is a Patented alternative water softner for homes that treats water with electric pulses generated within the electronic unit and controlled by a micro-chip! These pulses are transmitted via our Ultra Flat Impulse Bands which breakdown crystals that would otherwise buildup into limescale, which can break appliances
  • WHO BENEFITS FROM YARNA: Our customers report cleaner pipes and faucets, lower costs for descaling and heating, and better overall water quality using our whole house water softener system alternative. Depending on the current condition of your plumbing, it may take up to three months to observe a significant improvement
  • EASY INSTALLATION: All you need is access to a minimum of 10" of free pipe space with a maximum pipe diameter of 2". Yarna whole house water descaler is completely DIY with no need for any tools or specialized help. Our whole house water descaler works with any type of piping up to 2" thick
  • WHY DESCALING IS BETTER THAN SOFTENING: The Yarna CWD30 water softener descaling system won't eliminate beneficial minerals from water. Additionally, unlike traditional whole house water softeners, Yarna does not require the use of salt and does not allow water to be wasted
  • 365 DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE: Should you not be satisfied with the product's performance, you have a whole year to return it for a full refund!

  • It helps reduce scale
Voltage: 30.0 Volts
I was leary of this thing actually doing something but found that it actually eliminated the hard water build up on my faucet. This is one of those faucets that has an open spout that you can see the water running down. Thought it looked nice until it slowly developed the crusty white hardware gunk. After installing this thing, the deposits slowly subsided and went away! The stainless steel dish drainer also shows very little deposits and that thing would be covered in white crap in a few days. It doesn't make the water softer but it seems things and body are more easily cleaned. ... show more

  • Correct Expectations are important
Voltage: 30.0 Volts
This will not make your water soft. It will make your life easier if you have build up. Before install, i would need to clean a water optical sensor every three weeks. It has now been 7 weeks and the sensor does not have build up. This works similar to breaking up kidney stones with ultrasound. The stone(or in this case lime scape crystals) still exist but are now much smaller. This reduces the chance of build up as self building crystal structure require a critical mass to self build. You are making the dissolved minerals crystal much smaller. This means that after evaporation you are left a very thin layer of dust where would be scale ... show more

  • Not a Does what it has been advertised to do.
Voltage: 30.0 Volts
I had no desire to deal with chemical water softeners, so after researching this kind of product for quite some time and reading some reviews on this one, I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger and purchase. It is installed on a residential well system between the pressure tank and whole house filter. I was encouraged by the capacitive system on this unit compared to other methods, the water resilience rating (in case of a plumbing leak) and requirement of only two smaller 10 inch lengths which made it easier to use with my existing PVC piping setup compared to other equivalent products. Self installation was simple and I secured the copper strips with electrical tape as suggested in other reviews. After a month of use, I've definitely noticed a difference in scale deposits similar to other reviews. Scale deposits still exist, but much less overall and what is there comes off far more easily, a wipe with a cleaning towel is enough. This is especially apparent on our electric kettle and in other places like the shower and even the toilet. Dishes washed in dishwasher do seem better and I would expect it to be since I'm seeing improvement in other places, but it's harder to tell as I've been letting glassware run through the descaling process on it's own rather than trying to manually clean it out. No comments on showers "feeling" cleaner, as that wasn't ever really an issue for me. My main purpose for installation was to reduce impact of hard water on a newly installed on-demand water heater. No way to know for certain how much it might help, but since I'm seeing a noticeable difference elsewhere, I'm quite happy with this one-time purchase with such a long warranty and ease of self-installation. I was honestly pretty skeptical about these devices and have kept their return policy in mind for the past month, but I'm now a believer! In my opinion it's a worthwhile and economical addition to any household with water that leans on the hard side. There may cheaper alternatives to this specific product, but this one, for me, definitely worked and I'm happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Easy set up
Voltage: 30.0 Volts
My whole house water system only one year old but the white scale built up so bad make the water flow slower than before. After do some research, I found this solution for my situation within the budget and less hassle. I am giving it a try. So far so good. Not sure if this work. Will come back and update. ... show more

  • Works!
Voltage: 30.0 Volts
I approached the project with skepticism as opinions on magnetic and electronic water softeners were all over the map. And I stayed away from salt-based softeners because of my aversion to the on-going cost, work and the sodium discharge. The Yarna device is relatively easy to install if you can find a one-and-half_foot length of pipe near the mains. And you possibly have to run a power cable to where you will install the descaler. The installation itself takes about 20 minutes. The effect is instant! That evening I had a good shower with rich suds which I have not had since I moved into my current home years ago. I still see calcium deposits, but they are not cemented onto surfaces (shower doors, hot water kettle, etc.) like before. The device is non-invasive, and it does not alter the chemistry of the water, only its physical properties. I measured the power consumption to be 1.8 watt. That is about 23 days of continuous use for each KWh. I highly recommend this device. ... show more

  • Seems to work
Voltage: 30.0 Volts
Was very skeptical, live in the Caribbean, water comes from subterranean coral, calcium like mad but looks like after a month of use stuff isn't getting as white as before..it seems to help, no more itchy skin either...

  • So far, Wow!
Voltage: 30.0 Volts
Our county water has always left heavy rust rings and streaks as well as what we thought was soap scum on the shower doors. We considered a water softener but did not want the salt maintenance. We bought the Yarna water descaler after studying the reviews. After installation we cleaned the pictured tub which always had a red "rust" buildup on it's floor and was a major project to clean. We're only 5 weeks in but have not seen any evidence of new buildup. The photo is current and we couldn't be happier. Tax day will be 6 months and I will update my review at that time. Installation was a "learn as you go" project. I suggest buying a pack of 10-11" zip/cable ties and having several 1/2" wide strips of duct tape ready for installation. The supplied zip ties are extremely stiff and can not be tightened adequately without a tightening tool. My best advice is to secure the electrode wrap with a cable tie at the beginning of the wrap, then wrap with one hand while securing progress with the other hand. secure the end of the wrap with a piece of tape before attempting to add the zip tie. I also double zip tied each end. ... show more
