This inverter is fantastic for what it is. My issue was simply before purchasing I did not understand the difference between a pure sign wave and a modified sign wave. I used this inverter everyday all day for 3 weeks and it did everything I asked it to. However do to my not understanding how inverters work and the difference between the 2 kinds lead to frying to my cordless power tool charger. Do to this i have ordered a (much more expensive) pure sign wave inverter for work and I will continue to use this inverter for powering things that have simple electrical systems and less frequently as well. If you want to power something with simple electrical components like a fan or lights then this should do it. However if you are trying to run a battery charger for power tools or a laptop it might be worth looking at a pure wave inverter. ... show more

Piece of gunk, as soon as I hooked it up to the car and plugged my sons Xbox to it, it burnt the xbox power supply out, it started smoking and it blew the fuse in the car. I just bought a ever start 1000 watt one from walmart and it works amazing. Now I can take my kids to Ohio in the morning and have them play their game and watch their pre downloaded videos. I provided pictures to compare the two items on the left are for the cheap 2000 watt LVYUAN Inverter. on the right is the awesome 1000 watt walmart Everstart Inverter. Picture 1. LVYUAN is way smaller than the Everstart even though it should have been 1000 watts more. 2. Battery cable is way smaller on the LVYUAN compared to the 1000 watts smaller Everstart, and the Everstart comes with a large amp fuse for the positive cable. 3. The 12V Accessory plug is extremely larger on the Everstart. The Everstart has a 1 year warranty. This came out $72.00, the Everstart is $89.00 and well worth it. ... show more

So i bought this for the long trip we are about to go on. We are headed to daytona Florida and live in south bend Indiana. With two children ages 5 and 7 its hard for them to stay entertained on a 17 hour trip. So i mounted a 20inch flat screen tv that folds up as well as a xbox one that will all be powered by the CANTONAPE 1000W inverter. I will be driving most of the way while everyone sleeps.
