I bought this inverter so I could charge batteries for my tools while driving. I didn't use it often, but the last time I did it stopped working. I wouldn't buy this product again.

definitely covers at least 1000- 2000 watts. never had a problem. no issues. has a great beep when there is insufficient power. i use it everyday at least 12 hours for a few months now.

Got this to run my pellet grill while on the road. Manual says minimum of 100w without running the heat rod. Needless to say this doesn't even run the fan. My 150w inverter even does that. Edit*** looking further into my issue, it may have been the wrong inverter for my application. I belive I needed a pure sine inverter, not modified. The inverter did power up my unit and run the auger, just not the fan. Probably my mistake. A pure sine inverter is more like the ac in you house. While a modified is just that, modified , and may not run everything you want to. ... show more

For the price, I didn't expect much. However, this device performs much better than expected. I use it quite regularly for my job. I have a large work van with a lot of space in the back that I utilize for programming systems before installation. I have also used the inverter to run some power tools here and there without any fail. 5gallon air compressor, Milwaukee sawzall, as well as my Bosch hammer drill. Like I said, I use it frequently for low current purposes like running my laptop and charging batteries. But if it can handle up on those power tool applications, it's pretty solid for the price. ... show more
