I just received this camera today and I have had previous experience with canon cameras for film class so I decided to buy my own personal camera. The camera came nicely secure in the packaging as well. Lens cover is included along with a battery with a plug in charger for the battery. There’s no SD card so you will have to buy that separately but other than that I think I got a pretty good deal for its price! So far, this camera works very well! It’s a bit tricky to navigate but luckily instructions also came. Although, I found myself playing around with the buttons for a while and was able to catch on quickly. The quality is decent. I will admit, the focus is a bit confusing to grasp but once I took some photos, I’d say they came out solid. Although, I do wish they appeared more clearer on the actual display. However, when I did download the pictures to my computer, they actually looked very clear through the screen so I suppose it just depends on how they are uploaded. Other than that, this camera is amazing and perfect for people who have an interest in photography or are just looking for a great camera to take cool pictures on. I don’t know anything about cameras, but I thought I would give professional camera taking a try. To my surprise I’m learning new stuff every day. The learning curve for this thing is phenomenal, although it’s packed with features they are easy to learn, and even easier to get to when need be.

I needed a decent camera to keep on my boat, and this little Rebel T100 looked like a good candidate. The Rebel's body and camera features are A-OK, but the "kit lens" that comes with the T100 is a joke. Cheap, flimsy, light-weight (feels like all plastic and no glass), and the picture quality using this lens is miserable. I immediately ordered a Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II SLR Lens as a replacement, and this kit lens can serve as a paperweight.
